So far this book seems great! I believe it provides an excellent foundation for basic anatomy and physiology. I am a dental student and this book goes over the "must know" and "clinically relevant" concepts that every healthcare provider has to know in order to have a solid foundation to build and operate upon. This book has great clinical caveats included and is written from a clinicians perspective; therefore, it doesn't get bogged down in the details, but yet provides enough details to give you a good working knowledge of physiology. From a dental and medical student perspective, this book doesn't provide enough details that are required for our courses in professional school nor our board exams, but it does provide an excellent foundation to build upon in preparation for gross anatomy and physiology as well as for boards. I highly recommend this book as a supplement to any person studying medicine that wants to understand the overall "big" picture without too many details. It has many wonderful color pictures and diagrams that greatly help in digesting the material.

This book was recommended by my Biology teacher and I am glad that I did not waste the money by purchasing this.

Community College is using this book. It is colorful and easy to follow. I think it has some limited info in it, but it is good for a 100 class. Would be great HS level as well.

I'm a paramedic student and this book was used for an A&P refresher course. Really enjoyed reading this book. It has a lot simpler explanations of systems which made it very easy to absorb. I would definitely recommend this book for other medic students or nursing students.

Love it for the price and love the fact that it has the DAVIS plus code for additional learning. I just wish it was a hardback. It had a few bent edges upon delivery
