I like these blankets and have now bought two. Yes, there is a wool smell but it's not strong and if it bothers you, just air the blanket. These are big enough for a 5'10" person to diamond wrap in them. Comfortable, warm and so far, hard wearing.

I've had this product for a few months now... Positives; It's got some weight to it which is something i love in a blanket and keeps me and my kids super warm when we're all snuggled on the sofa. Also did i say IT IS WARM! Negatives; A bit itchy on your bare skin (I don't mind, i'm use to military blankets), but it's not HALF as bad as 90% of other wool blankets i've used, lastly, when you take it out the packaging it has a very strong smell, I don't know what it is, but it really takes me back to being a child crawling through the tanks and land rovers when my father was in the army, and had the chance to take us to work.(Guess that's kind of a positive, but not for everyone).

Nice quality blanket. Needs a wash when you first get it as it has a bad factory smell. Smells a little like petrol or grease

Very smelly

Yes it does smell of wet carpet and its rough against the skin so its not great for indoors . However , as an outdoor blanket its fantastic . Warm , tough, durable .

Seems good. Haven't used it yet. Hopefully not itchy.

Got to use it on the mattress, but it turn out to smell like leather tanning. Expect it will be fine after a few years kept in fresh air. Probably means it won't be soaking up water, which is better in emergencies. Will keep in the car for winter, adventurous sewists can make chaps.

An excellent low cost blanket. Good thickness and colour. After I received the first one I bought another.

Weird smell comming of it. Falls apart. Like a shedding animal. Pieces or tufts of wool evrywhere..

Couverture pratique pour avoir dans le coffre de la voiture. Qualité moyenne, peu épaisse, avec 30% de fibres synthétique, le reste en laine recyclée. C'est quand même cher pour ce que c'est même si c'est toujours mieux qu'une banale polaire.

La cobija tiene un fuerte olor como a petroleo al llegar. Es necesario lavarla antes de usarla... yo la lavaria dos veces, una vez no es sufiente. Al lavarla suelta cantidades irreales de fibra de lana. Mas alla de esas dos cosas, la verdad esta muy buena, yo ke la lleve a acampar y me abrigo muy chingon. Tengo entendido que el olor es normal en productos dr lana, sirve para evitas plagas.
