This vest definitely serves it's purpose. I am seen much sooner by drivers both during the day and at night. However, I would have liked if there was a greater surface area of the reflective material. Still, compared to just wearing fluorescent colors, this helps you stand out while walking/running.Another thing to know is that there is a max number of 25 washes for this vest before the reflective material no longer reflects. This information is taken from the wash instructions tag within the vest.

This is prefect for low light running. It's light and comfortable and does not constrict your movement. I don't use the reflective slap bands, but I highly recommend this vest.

I use this vest during my nighttime bike rides to and from the gym. I ride down a dark street and even with headlights and blinkers on my bike, I still find I want a little bit more to make me stand out to cars driving by. This vest is super light and packs up into a small ball the easily stores inside the pack that I have attached to my bike. I wear about a Large or XL shirt size and it fits me well. To give you an idea, I am 6’4” at 195lbs. My dad, who is 5’11” at 230, finds that it is a little tight on him.To put the unit on, simply bring it over your head like a bib, and then bring the two Velcro straps around both sides and attach it to the front. The vest is made from a breathable mesh so it is really light and allows airflow. One of the bonus items that I love about this is the bands that come to wrap around your ankles. These are perfect not only for visabilty, but also if you cycle with long pants it prevents them from getting stuck in the chain.Overall, this vest is a really nice item that I use nearly every day. I would caution individuals on the “larger” side that this may or not fit them. It is a generic product marketed under the MK Health brand.I received the L/XL size and it (barely) fit my 50” chest. I gave it to my wife. For her, it is easy to put on, comfortable to wear, weightless and non-restrictive. A small zippered inside pocket makes it safe to carry ID and/or keys.She wears the vest when riding her bike or walking the dog in the evening. The fluorescent bright yellow is easy to spot at dusk and has good light reflection in the dark.Two rolls of fluorescent reflective tapes are included in the package.A carrying bag that doubles as a mini-backpack is included as a bonus.I update and revise reviews if I discover defects or problems after using the product for at least one year.I purchased this item with a discount coupon. This is a comfortable and easy to put on reflective vest that is something I think all joggers and cyclists should be using. I think of the many times when I have been driving in dusk or darkness and suddenly a runner or bicycle rider is alongside my car, or crossing in front of me, wearing dark clothing and with no attempt made to improve their visibility to others. I suppose that when you're out in the open and exercising, you think that everyone can see you just as easily as you can see them, but of course that's not the case. This is a very prudent thing that can save lives and injury.It is also something that could be kept in the car, for use if needed when changing a tire in darkness or if stranded on the road and waiting for the tow truck or repair to arrive.It is a product that I may not use that frequently myself, but as the warmer months come in then I will see how it works. One key test will be how it wears over time and how it does when washed repeatedly. If I find that it does not wear as expected, or if I think of any other points worth mentioning here, I will return and update this review accordingly.I really think that this vest, or something similar, should be used by all individuals who are out in the open during darkness or at the end of the day. I looked kind of weird in this vest. So did my more muscular sons! It fit more like a bra than a vest. A foot more of material to the waist would've made it look more humanly balanced. I also found it difficult to hook up, with the two Velcro straps hanging in the middle of the back. Overall, it was a bad fit, no form to it. Now, the two reflective arm bands were neat and could easily be slapped on. The grandkids enjoyed doing that.I received this vest in exchange for a fair and personal review. I'm disappointed when I can't give the product a high mark -- I just don't feel this vest is as good as it could be, when compared to others on Amazon.
