Lion Brand Yarn 320-171 Fun Fur Yarn, Amber

I love the fun fur for knitting or crocheting critters like teddy bears, dogs, cats, etc. I made a bear with this fun fur and it turned out great. It was the first time I had used fun fur. Before I used it I looked at it and really didn't think it was going to amount to much. A thin haired critter at best. But once I started knitting my bear I saw that the fun fur somehow manages to end up all on the right side and looks like very thick fur. Knitting with this was a fun challenge that I really enjoyed and my grandson loves his bear.

I used this on my first crochet project and I found it a little difficult to work with, but the effect is really beautiful.The "yarn" is more of a thin string with long hairs sticking out from it. I ended up missing a couple of stitches and didn't realize it until after i was done. But this added a nice furry edge to the blanket I was finishing. I expect it much easier to use if you're more skilled than I am.

I purchased this yarn in red to make a fluffy heart pillow for my granddaughter for Valentine's. Its almonst finished and looks darling in the bright red and its puffy and fluffy. I used two strands of yarn at a time to make a full knit look. A little challenging because this yarn is silky and made to look like fur.

Smaller then expected

Price was right. Sometimes difficult to find these specialty yarns in the craft stores, so buying this online was a win win deal of getting it fairly quickly, getting the color wanted, and avoiding the hassle of driving to the stores. Great for angels and cute, cuddly animals!

I searched high and low for this particular color yarn for a spring wreath I was making. Of course I found it on amazon and for a great price too! This worked great and I purchased several skeins; I was very happy that all of the skeins were from the same dye lot and all looked the same. This made for a great wreath, and I get compliments on it every time I hang it up. It is such a fun and full yarn!

I had used this yarn before and my aunt wanted a scarf like mine. I searched every craft and "big box" store locally and could not find it. I did not even remember the brand, but started searching yarn on Amazon and found it. It's soft and easy to work with. Fun fur comes in so many great colors.

This yarn replaces the Eskimo eyelash yarn very well and works up nicely in knitting. I unfortunately ordered this green color by mistake but was very pleased with the prompt and understanding way Amazon replaced it with the color I intended to ask for--black or raven. It works up nicely for the ScottishTerrier pattern in the Knit your own Scotland" book available on Amazon. Thanks you, Amazon, for your kindness!
