Craftmanship needs PERFECTION
• Not the best in terms of product finishing..noticed tiny dents and flaws top right side exterior of body• Shaky door that does not fit snug after locking. You can feel sum space in-between the door after it's closed if you hold the handle• Value for money - if you just need a small secure mini size cupboard like a mini fridge then worth a buy• Manual needs simplicity and clarity in words• Overall rating 3 stars

**UPDATE - I am revising my review I initially left below 16 months ago. The safe is starting to fail. The handle gets jammed up, sometimes you can't open the door, other times, after opening, when trying to secure the safe closed again, you believe it's locked but a simple turn of the handle and the safe actually opens! All the while you thought it was locked! This is not good. I am outside the 1 year warranty but will be contacting the company.********Don't be fooled this is not a heavy duty safe meant to protect against fire. It could also easily be lifted and carried out. But having said that it does serve the purpose I believe it was designed for. Hidden in a closet and bolted down to the floor (I used 2 large lag bolts in the cutouts pre-fabricated on the floor of the safe) I feel very good leaving my valuables in there. And the best part about this unit is the ease of use with the fingerprint scanner. Was super easy to program, you can program multiple fingerprints, or like I did, scan your same finger multiple times in different positions (like half way on the scanner, off center etc) so this way you NEVER have a misread when trying to access your safe in a hurry. (we haven't had one yet). Hands down, the Biometric scanner is the easiest and quickest way to access a safe (the main reason I bought this one). During testing, I tried several fingers that weren't scanned and the safe never opened. I am happy with this purchase.
