Great quality, good valueTravel Light, Wrench Less: Love This Crescent Pass-Thru Kit
This Crescent 25 Piece 3/8" Drive Pass-Thru socket set has quickly become one of my go-to tools. The build quality feels really solid, and it's just plain handy to have around. What I particularly appreciate is how it tackles those frustrating high bolt studs in tight spots, especially on cars. You know the drill – no room for a deep socket, and you're stuck with a wrench, inching along. This set completely eliminates that headache. The pass-thru design is a game-changer in those situations.Another big plus for me is the versatility. It's like getting two socket sets in one. I don't have to carry both regular and deep sockets anymore, which makes it great for taking on the road or just keeping things organized. If you've ever struggled with limited clearance or just buying your first socket set, this Crescent set is definitely worth checking out.

Great product
WOW! What a lifesaver used it several times to get to nuts can't get to with regular sockets.

Works perfectly but would needs a far better method for holding & storing the socket heads
This is a great set of sockets that allow you to use a the included socket wrench with very long bolts, a frequent need in my work. The only thing I don't like about the set is that the holders for the two different sets of sockets (metric and inches) barely hold the sockets so when I put them in a tool box, they fall out and get all mixed together. They are far easier to remove from the holders than those metal holders using spring steel but I prefer to keep them organized so would prefer a more firm holding mechanism for the loose sockets. But this is not a critique of the tool's functionality, which is excellent.

Perfect for odd spaces
Needed this to attach nuts/bolts from underneath my SUV's roof rack. The problem is a normal socket was too shallow as the bolts I used were longer, and a deep socket woudln't fit between the roof rack and the top of the roof. These worked perfectly due to the pass-through design. I keep these in my car for this purpose.

Great quality tool, nonexistent storage with the set.
I bought this set because I bought a Kobalt set like this several years ago on clearance and it had a flex head that uses this type attachment to the ratchet, but there were no sockets - just allen wrenches and Torx bits. Since I have the Kobalt flex head ratchet that uses this system, and I don't have any other flex head ratchets, I thought that this would give me some additional flexibility. So, now I have a flex head (Kobalt) and a straight ratchet (Crescent) that I can use with these sockets. And since these are low profile, these will help me get into some other places that I would have had trouble with in the past. Now, the annoying part (as others have mentioned) is these don't have any kind of case or real way to hold them. The sockets fall out of the "rails" that come in the package. This is a big problem. Maybe I will get a magnetic rail or something. Otherwise these will fall all over the place. Great quality tool, but lousy storage for the tool.

Great set!
This is a great little set to keep as an EDC. It’s a little big but it packs a big “turn”. It could use a little knurling, just to help with grip, and ease of use. But it is a great looking set! I put mine in a ToughBuilt stacktech box. And plan to add to it, so that I have a great priced, and versatile tool kit for quick deployment.

Sockets do not hold in 3/8" storage rails
Product listing does not mention that sockets dont "hold" on a 3/8" socket rail. Worse still, is the fact that the pliable plastic storage "rails" dont hold the sockets well (as described by other buyer in review). No twist lock (Wera) but also not ball-detent (standard). This is an understood necessity with flip-sockets, but I have pass-through sockets (as these are...heavy socket users understand thecreference) that WILL fit at least rails one size up. So this 3/8" set should, but doesnt, fit my 1/2" rails.Product is ok for price but just ok (versus Craftsman or SK or Gearwrench equivalents). Is noticable from pics that sockets arent CroMo, Phosphate or CroVad material, but isnt anodized either. Appears to be just metal paint. Most importantly, removing the sockets from the accompanying wrench is WAY too difficult, especially as these are shallow/short height sockets which permit poor grip-pull. I wouldnt buy again, but am not either hoping I loose it or lend & not ask for them back bc I only bought this for the multi-fastner head fit. So it's not simply a backup set, it's an odd occassion backup set. It'll get used about 10 times a yr & it's downsides above will be tolerable, but only just so, for this level use. Would not recommend as primary or often used set.
