All you need for 95% of users on the Ryzen platform
Due to the way that newer generations of Ryzen have been designed, and how they utilize system memory, there is virtually no benefit in using RAM with speeds above 3600MT/s, in most applications. And in fact, the difference between 3200MT/s and 3600MT/s (on the Ryzen platform) will be indistinguishable to most people in practice, even to those seeking the best performance out of a high-end system. Bringing timings into the equation also has little bearing on actual practical performance - you will generally find CL14-3200 and CL16-3200 memory to perform about the same, in most applications. All that is to say, you don't really need to look any further than this kit of RAM. It performs as advertised, XMP can be enabled smoothly, it doesn't crumble into dust if you look at it... I don't know what more you could want, this being one of the cheapest (if not THE cheapest) 16GB kit of DDR4-3200 CL16 memory available on the market. Includes a limited lifetime warranty too. So go ahead, buy a kit or two of this stuff and be rest assured that your Ryzen-based system is not being bottlenecked in any practical way. For those of you waiting to interject with an explanation of how this memory would in fact not enable your computer to perform at its utmost (or theoretical) capability... well I highly doubt you'd be one to look for RAM on Amazon sorting by price or popularity anyway.

Reliable, reasonably priced RAM
First time using Silicon Power branded RAM. Passed Memtest86 (passes hammer test, etc.) with 0 errors after 6 passes. Can't complain. Plugged right into ASUS X570-E ROG Strix motherboard, AMD Ryzen 3700x CPU, used 3200Mhz DOCP settings at 1.35V. RAM is completely stable and compatible with pre-existing 16GB of Crucial Ballistix 3200Mhz RAM (which had slightly slower timings). Simply adjusted timings to run based on the slightly slower Crucial Ballistix 3200Mhz timings, no problems. Less expensive than other name brand RAM, runs just as well, can't tell the difference. The negative reviews that complain about the RAM "defaulting" to slower 2666Mhz speeds were probably written by those who are not aware of XMP/DOCP and how to enable the higher RAM clock speeds in the BIOS. Remember to buy these in pairs (2x8GB, 2x16GB, 2x4GB, etc.) so that your RAM is run in "dual channel" mode for better performance. Running a single RAM module in single channel mode can cost you a 10-15% performance hit. No reason to pay more for other brands when Silicon Power costs less. 5 stars, product works as advertised at the XMP/DOCP specs with zero errors in MemTest86.

Good budget RAM
The first pack I got had a dead stick and wouldn't even POST, but instead of immediately getting on here to give it 1 star and complaining I decided to get a replacement and the replacement worked as it should. Using this stuff in a slightly older system (Skylake). Not much to say about it, it's RAM and if you're looking at memory in this price range you most likely aren't the kind to want to try to overclock every little bit out of it. It's been stable at 3200mhz though which is all you can really ask for. I've bought cheap RAM before from different brands and SP tends to be the nicest as far as build quality (previous brands have had the heatsinks fall right off). The only thing I don't like about this RAM is the color and design, looks outdated but luckily the PC I put them in doesn't have a windowed side panel so they'll never been seen Not a bad deal for some cheap RAM ๐

Mixed in with my existing 16gb 2666mhz
This was cheaper than trying to match my existing 2666mhz 16gb set. Here's how I got mine up and running if anyone is having issues trying to mix&match. First boot with all installed - no go. Removed my older RAM leaving only these to make sure they weren't faulty - booted right up. Reinstalled my older ram on the next boot - both sets of 16gb are running great together. Of course this forces the faster ram to slow down to match, but they've both been running flawlessly together for almost a month. I was having a lot of lock ups and intermittent freezes since I upgraded to Windows 11. I assumed I needed to do a clean reinstall of my system until I noticed my memory usage in the task manager. Alongside with running only a Chromium browser (Google Chrome/Microsoft Edge), take more memory resources than I realized. If you have Windows 11, I would recommend at least 32gb.

Great RAM No Blue Screens, Excellent
Purchased 2 sets of 16GB (8GB X2) for each of my 2 computers. They detected right away by my Motherboard. Bought these in 2021 and now it's 2025 they have been trouble free no blue screens no errors no reboots. Don't know what's the deal with those other customer with issues.
