I'm very impressed. Simple instructions, clamps work as intended. I use a Samsung Galaxy S10+ to record myself sketching, so nothing heavy, but what matters is that this thing just works and is very easy to position. Other reviews are on the money, this is a quality product!

Worked great until today. I bought in middle of May 2021 - it’s middle of August 2021 now and when I adjusted the arm on the boom stand, the “clamp” piece that holds the boom arm to the vertical pole literally fell apart - literally crumbled. I’ll never buy again.

This works well enough for what I need. It’s sturdy and you can adjust it in multiple ways so that it works for various angles and heights. It definitely needs weight on the base to keep the arm from slipping, but that’s easy enough to manage.

I really needed a stand that would allow me to position my webcam at eye level in front of my big monitor for those zoom calls. The mini tripod I was using blocked too much of the screen. This stand is perfect as I can put the base off to the side of the monitor and use the extension arm to center the webcam and still have most of the screen below the webcam usable. The only problem is the stand does not come with a standard 1/4" camera screw mount and the phone clamp is to large to hold the webcam.I found the solution. First, I needed to figure out the name of the part to search for. It is called a "17 mm ball joint adapter". Search for that on Amazon and you will see a list of items that includes an "ARKON SP-SBH-KIT-CAM Tightening Ring and Camera Head Adapter Kit". It is made of plastic and very light. Buy that part to replace the cell phone clamp that came with the stand. As long your webcam has a standard 1/4" camera tripod mount, you are all set to go!

I needed a stand that could hold my Android phone for overhead videos, and this worked just fine. Easy to put together without instructions and was able to film my project on my very first try. Worked for TWO years and then disintegrated when I adjusted the height of my cell phone today. Going to buy another brand since I never liked hiding that obtrusive base in my overhead videos. And I always needed books to prevent tipping. And I rarely made any adjustments that would cause the plastic to break down. But, hey, good short term.

The stand is larger than I expected. It is very sturdy and supports the phone well with minimal wiggle (even when the arm is extended far). The design is very much like a mic stand with boom arm attachment.

The CAOGE Overhead Phone Stand is perfect for holding a mobile phone in a variety of positions. I'm using mine for an overhead copy stand and it's great!
