Fast and easy, healthy and tasty, at home or on the go! What not to like?
This is a real bargain of a tasty snack. An easy to opening can gives access to a perfect quantity of soft, easily eaten fish. In our old deli we sold a small can of sardines with bagel as a quick snack order. I wish we had this product for our use. I eat a can as a late night snack on crackers while watching TV. I like both the water packed and the oil packed; which I use depends on what cracker I am eating. I also use a can with fresh bread (soft or toasted) as a quick sandwich lunch. At this price it’s perfect!

Canned Fish
It's worth the price compared to the price at the store for over $1 a can. It's better than most with smaller bones you never seem to notice. I got these on sale for $7 for the case of 12 after using a code of course.

Tasty
Ive had a problem with the other big brand being too small, excessively mushy and packed in water instead of oil, even though it says oil on the can. However, Beach Cliff is great. The fish are good size and slightly firm. They mostly hold their shape. Also, there's a good amount of oil in the can, not water. The flavor is also fresh and smell only slightly fishy. My favorite recipe is toasted with onions, garlic and hot sause served on a cracker.

Dogs like it!
The cost of commercial dog food has gotten insane. So, I have been working and exploring options using human food. Dogs' digestion can and does handle bones that aren't cooked to the point of being brittle. My dogs are not a fan of dry dog food, but, the budget doesn't permit wet dog food. But, when I add a can of these onto the top of the kibble they are much more prone to eating it - even if it is just a bit. They get the nutrition without additives, etc. Real food. I would love to see the industry update the canning format since it is a bit precarious. But, I suspect that will happen. I like the oil rather than water packing since it adds more calories and flavor for my dogs. I only use it once a week, rotating other options into the diet. But, the cost factor is quite favorable.

Sardines in oil, what’s not to love!
These are the smaller sardines, which is not a problem at all. They are not the larger “pieces”. I feed these to my dogs for the skin and fur benefits. They are packed in oil which is what I need for them. I’m satisfied with the item and the dogs seem to be as well. They “wolf” them down as soon as the bowls are placed. I also like the scheduled delivery by the way. Overall, good product. Highly recommend.

Value sardines, easy to use, but only fair taste.
The sardines are low cost sardines, that are good for adding to a meal, but this oil packed sardines don’t have a ton of flavor as compared to other sardines. There are other versions in this brand, such as the hot sauce version, that I would recommend over this one. But if you like a more mellow taste, and like adding some fish to your diet, this is a great way to do so. I did not find these very salty. I thought the sardines in the cans I had were a fair size, and did not have an excess oil to fish ratio. While I might get these again if they are a sale of some point, I think personally I’m going to get the hot sauce version if all possible. That is more to my liking. Like all sardines and fish in a can, the smoke and be a bit strong, but as you’re eating that it doesn’t really bother you. But I would recommend going in the washing out the can for your plate right away, so the smell dissipates from your house. I always find the smell more bothersome after you eat the food, then when you’re actually eating sardines or other fish type things.
