Games Workshop GW60-24 CITADEL DRY PAINT SET

I have owned this set for 18 months now. I really like using these for dry brushing. My paints are still kinda jiggly.....you can tell there is moisture in there, but you cant really shake them. I just dab the tip of my dry brush into the paint, scrub it on a paper towel, and then it provides a perfect dry brush effect. What I especially like about these is that the paint doesn't ever saturate your brush, so no matter how many times you dip your brush to get paint, it always has the dry effect, and never smears like how your brush might when using regular paints and your brush gets saturated. I always try to use the "dry" form of these paints when I am dry brushing. Love them.

I had some extra cash so I figured I'd try out the set since I couldn't find a couple of the pots locally. A few of the paints in the set were almost completely dried, so I had to add some liquid to get the product out of the pot and onto my brush. The colors are vibrant but there is really nothing new here. They are all slightly lighter variations of the same layer paints and metals from the Citadel lineup (examples: Evil Sunz Scarlet, Deathclaw Brown, Runefang Steel, etc.). Honestly, any paint can be used for dry brushing so this is really unnecessary to spend your money on. However, if you have a little extra cash and do a ton of dry brushing in your work, this isn't a bad starter kit. Just be aware that the dry paints are still supposed to have moisture in them. If you open the bot and it looks like dirt then you got a bad batch.

I wish I knew about Citadel before I dropped over a couple hundred on other paint sets for miniatures and models. These are simply the best in my opinion.

So turns out they are supposed to be hella thick 😂 that’s confusing as all hell but hey- they good 👍🏼

Received the package in good condition, was sealed with plastic wrap around box, package contents displayed on box showed 10 diff colors. Notice anything in the photo? I got 2 of the same paint for 2 diff colors. Meaning I only got 8 actual colors and doubles of 2 of the colors. I was very hesitant about buying this online because of the issues people were talking about. Mostly completely dried out paints. Mine were in good condition for being dry paints. I got what I expected minus the lack of all 10 diff colors. Maybe they need to do some better qa in the packing location.

I paint container was a little drier than the others but I added a drop or two of water to compensate.

Great price for an very good selection. People who are saying these paints are dried out might not realize that these paints are supposed to be pasty.

Ich habe einfach Farbe bestellt, um meine Filamentprudukte vom 3D Druck farbig zu gestalten. Das Ergebnis war ernüchternd. Die Farbe war dick wie Paste und dadurch für meine Zwecke ungeeignet.Erst ein Anruf beim Verkäufer brachte die Aufklärung. Die Farbe ist für eine sogenannte bürsttechnik gedacht. Jetzt verstehe Ich auch, warum der beiliegende Pinsel verhältnismäßig hart ist.Ich habe die Technik probehalber getestet, und es funktioniert. Nun werde ich mir noch Farbe bestellen für die normale Mal Technik.Also Amazon, bitte in Zukunft für unwissende wie ich es bin, das angebotene Produkt eindeutiger beschreiben, sagt auch der Verkäufer.

臭いがほとんどしないので、換気しなくても筆塗りができます。下地材を吹いた後に使うの事をオススメします。

Unlike other acrylic paints, the Citadel dry paints are more like a gel type substance. When used correctly the overall effect is very pleasing and i would recommend using the Citadel paint app to see the suggested paint combinations.

A nice set of paints if a tad expensive but they do work really well.
