Worth every penny.
Didn't buy it from AMAZON, but an amazing kayak. Tracks and turns beautifully. Doesn't need a retractable skeg. It's molded into the hull, works great. I highly recommend this kayak.

Decent price, great seat, but awful tracking.
Convinced the gf to get this kayak and it did not live up to expectations or the reviews others gave it. Did a 15 mile trip on a river (no rapids) with it and she constantly complained about how poorly it tracked. I thought she was over-exaggerating so i gave it a go in the zydeco. Under paddling, it would slowly steer right. I'm right handed, which means my power stroke is stronger on the right side which would normally turn the boat left. Even so, it would turn right. Without paddling, however, it quickly steers to the left. Maybe on a calm lake it might track better, or maybe ours was detective. On another note, the build quality of the hull, as stated by other reviewers, is not great. The hull is very thin plastic and would bend quite easily. Just setting it on top of my roof rack caused the bottom of the hull to bend and bow upwards, and this is without even tying it down. The only good thing i can say about this boat is that the seat is great and super comfy. I couldve sat in it all day without any issues. Hopefully you'll have a better time in the zydeco than us, but as it stands i cannot give a good recommendation on this boat.
