RCBS 90367 Trimpro 2 Kit, Power with Spring Shellholder

Difficult to load brass. Time consuming to cut necks down.

I got this yesterday and quickly found out it's not as good as most reviews state.First the Good. It's accurate and consistent to within .001". The process is simple. Shipping was lightening fast.Now the Bad. It's unbelievably slow . . . I can trim twice as fast with my 40 year old Forester Trimmer. The case holder often doesn't align itself with the cutter so that the trim isn't square. There needs to be two or three case holders . . . one "universal" size doesn't fit all. My .223 Rem. cases often slip off the case holder and with poor alignment. The "22" pilot is way too large . . . I needed to put it in my drill press and use a file then emery to get it to fit. The "Motor Handle Shoulder Bolt" won't screw far enough into the frame to catch the threads (I needed to make my own). The unit is too large. If it were engineered as a stand alone unit instead of mating a motor to an existing trimmer, it would sit on a small workbench. The motor unit to too loud. I'm an old man with hearing problems but I need to wear sound suppressors to keep from going batty.

This trimmer works great and I am impressed with the universal case holder. You just have to be careful when inserting the case so both sides connect. The original box was all broken up upon arrival and it was repackaged in another box, but the order was delayed by UPS and I think they may have had an accident. All parts were there and nothing was missing. At first startup, cases were taking a long time to trim, so I called RCBS and they shipped me another cutter head and problem solved. I am also going to order the carbide cutter head and not have to worry about the regular head dulling over time.

Received package promptly, which was in perfect condition, clear tape sealed which looked like it was straight from factory but upon opening, the contents had only the main unit and the Case Holder lever handle and the instruction booklet. Missing were the motor handle, the pilot bag and the parts bag. Trying to call number on instruction booklet and so far unable to reach RCBS. I have seperately ordered different trimmer heads and I have plenty of spare hardware around for mounting, but I can't use this without the pilots.Will update if I get anyone from RCBS to resolve the issue.
