Very good lock
It is a good lock and it has a good app to manage it remotely. I am very happy with it overall, however the battery does have some issues.

No compren YALE.

So like some other people mentioned already its not perfect. But I think whatever negatives there are definitely out weigh the positives. So with that being said I will tell you how it is after 3 months of using it. I have a wife and a 18 year old son who also use the front door. I installed the door and had no issues with installation. I read about the bolts being too tight, so I checked the lock manually to verify its smooth as I went along, no issues. Once installation done I downloaded the app and started programming all of us into the app. I'm the tech guy in the house so I'm the administrator user. Adding everyone in is easy. I got a bit confused when you add a user email for the app. It should send an email to that user for the app. It didn't for some reason. No biggie, when my wife and son downloaded the app just make sure they sign up using the email address you have listed for them. They can use the app to unlock the door through Bluetooth but I'm the only user to unlock with wifi and program other users. That works for us. So I hooked up the bridge last which is why I think the email for my users didn't send. I probably should've hooked up the bridge first then program my users. Oh well it worked out in the long run. I did have some trouble hooking up to wifi but again I'm the techy guy so I figured it out. Must have 2.4 ghz wifi. Not sure if you can get your deadbolt changed to match your current house locks, I didn't try because I didn't buy this to use the key. We bought it for the ease of access it will give us. So as the keys they gave us work we never use them, its awesome. I like the fact that when we're not home I can check the log to see if my son is home or if he came home. It logs who came in if they use pin code or finger print. If you use key or unlock from the inside then it logs it as manual. No way to tell who it is. That's expected. Great feature. You can easily set up a temporary user with pin code to use at specific time or times. How many times they get to use that pin. I like it for my parents. I send them a code and they can walk right in. Now it doesn't know if the door is open or closed but my son left the house and didn't make sure the door was all the way closed. It notified me saying the lock is jammed. So with the door not closed all the way it was hitting the frame. I don't have my log notifying me with anything but it did notify for this which was good. So now I have lock the door when he leaves. To manually lock the door when you leave just press the big button on the bottom as you leave. This ensures him that the door is closed. Overall I think this is a great product and would recommend it to anyone. Very happy with this purchase. It takes time to set everything up but in the end it worked out great for my family. Oh I didn't hook it up to my Alexa. That was my choice, so I can't comment on that. I do have it hooked to wifi which I can control from anywhere. That was my preference I guess. Stop debating, just get it.

TLDR: It may have its few drawbacks, but they all have solutions amd our Ultraloq Pro with Wifi bridge has been an amazing addition to our home! I did quite a bit of research in finding a smart lock that was reasonably priced, a good fit with our technologically-diverse family, had Google Home integration, was compatible with our different needs and first and foremost reliable. I was willing to chose outside of the big names, but not to go for something that felt downright dodgy. Well, I believe we hit the jackpot in this case! Their website and videos are great to confirm compatibility with your existing door and jamb and to help with installation. If you aren't sure you can replace a deadbolt, their documentation should give you the confidence to try! The hardware itself and the functionality we are using are no less than awesome! - The fingerprint reader needs you to really take a good first reading all around your finger to work well, but when you do it is very reliable. - The temporary guest feature is very nice whenever someone comes to take care of the kids or the house in general. In this case, we use a code and it's a breeze. We've only ever had amazed feedback from those who've used it... - The fact that there is a backup key is a great backup for some, but the deadbolt hasn't yet made us use it. - The micro-usb plug under the deadbolt to provide emergency power is a great touch too! Definitely more my style... - The battery life is pretty good with our Eneloop AA batteries (always 4+ months with daily use) and the low-battery signal is early enough that it shouldn't leave you stranded anyway if you want to count on it instead of replacing the batteries on a schedule. - We live in a northern climate and the deadbolt never skipped a beat despite the cold or humidity. Drawbacks exist, but they are few and far between and have a solution: - The original installation hardware we received was a little difficult to install without pinching the data cable between the interior module and the exterior one. It did cause glitches to start happening over time in that original unit, but the costumer service we received from Eli in particular when that happened was awesome! The second unit we were sent had the updated installation hardware and I uninstalled the lock after a few weeks to ensure the cable wasn't pinched and it's been faultless since it was installed 4 months ago. I do want to emphasize that these glitches never actually left us stranded outside, but they did get annoying especially the beeping in the middle of the night, but the new unit NEVER did it. - When you have really done your fingerprint properly, the target being rather small isn't really a problem, but fail to do it right and it can get annoying. - Setting up fingerprints does take a while, which just tends to accentuate the previous issue. Patience is key here, you want to plan a calm 5-10 minutes without interruptions per person. - Something that isn't Ultraloq's fault, but needs to be mentioned: Google Home now requires a pin be entered to unlock a door... I understand the extra security this provides and don't want to minimize it, but having to enter or speak out a pin when running a routine really goes against the whole automation concept that is so appealing with a smart lock. - And finally, the current generation is only compatible with Android phones and Google home or Alexa devices, but the word on the street is that the next one will have iOS integration! All in all, we are very happy with this deadbolt, especially since we have received the updated hardware back in August of 2023.
