R29/26 Xbow will flop around in soft case because not designed as a sculpted case.
Thought Ravin R26/29 soft case was a generic type fit for their other wider and larger crossbows. When placed in case and put on my back as in carry mode, my R29X flopped around side to side when walking. For high price, thought would be made exactly for these R26/29 models. This was too large for R29X and shorter R26 would flop around more. The case was not a sculpted fit for my R29X. It is far too wide, too long. Much bulkier than should be, plus not hold crossbow firmly while in case. Design has lots of extra storage compartment areas inside, that I had no need or use for. Did not want a suitcase. After waiting weeks to get item, was very disappointed when placed R29X in this soft case. Realized would do better to try to improvise and pad another type nylon soft case bag to be a better carrying and storage case. Returned thru Amazon using Kohls store system was excellent service.

Great Case, Bad Price, design needs some work
Great case, Bad PriceThe side walls of the case are not stiff enough. The inserts are almost a total failure. For all the engineering that Ravin does on their bows and equipment, this case does NOT meet the the bar. Yet, they still charge the price. I think that we are paying for the name on the case. In closing, I like the case, but I think they are way overcharging for a product that does not meet my expectations of Ravin engineering.

This is the one you want for R29
I have an R 29 and tried this as well as the Ravin 180 case. By far this is a better case with a divider on the inside which allows for bolts to stay in the quiver. I currently have a dozen field point bolts in the two pouches on the top of the case which is great storage. I am not sure where I am going to store broad heads but I am not worried that there won’t be space. This case also has a little more room around the scope. It is a soft case but durable fabric a little expensive I think but good value to have some protection for the crossbow

Disappointed
The case allows the crossbow to flop around within the case. It also comes with (2) velcro tabbed partitions, with no directions on how they should be mounted on the inside. Pretty disappointed based on the price.

Crossbow too flimsy
You would think that Ravin would make a more Secure soft bag for such a Expensive crossbow. It moves around while transporting. Not worth the money.
