Johnson Level & Tool 7203 Stainless Steel Metric Pocket Clip Rule, 6", Silver, 1 Ruler

Needed this to measure accurately my spacing needed in my leatherwork.

I really like this little tool! I read in another review that the attachment is a little flimsy, which made me hesitate in buying this product, but I found that the attachment isn't flimsy at all; I think it's actually very sturdy. I was also concerned that the metal attachment would loosen its grip on the ruler with time, but I haven't found that to be the case. Even if that were a problem, it would be an easy fix with a pair of needle nosed pliers.

Good pocket tool for the metrically challenged among us. I frequently need to convert measurements. I am getting better with metric units but wanted something to help visualize the measurements. I have one with 32nds and 64ths and a table of decimal equivalents on the back. This one is the same thing mm and 64ths on one side and mm to decimal inch equivalents on the back. Stainless steel so it should last and retain its shape.

I ordered this caliper so I could measure some guitar parts for a project I picked up recently. While I was successfully able to measure what I needed to measure, with enough accuracy that it wasn't a total loss--the battery drawer on the unit was broken coming out of the case. I think it goes without saying that the caliper shutting off while taking measurements is pretty frustrating. I'll likely be returning this item for a replacement or refund, whichever they feel like honoring.

I needed a replacement for a nice rule I misplaced and the crappy big-box replacement I learned to hate. So I bought three of these based only on reviews. Recommended.

Great little pocket ruler. I use it for journaling and store it in the zipper pocket of my Midori and Roterfaden notebooks.It is easy to use the T square to get a straight line by squaring it to the edge of your pages. The markings on the ruler are excellent and not haphazardly printed. It is a serious tool and worth the investment.

Nice sized divisions. Easily read, Easily interpreted in-betweens. Pocket clip. I use it to set up guitars and I really like it.

Neat little tool works well for small stuff, woodworking projects nothing special about it though. Not in inches but mm. But works good enough for me!
