Our great dane/pit bull mix was dumped in our community with his brother in 2023 by some gutter slime. We are rural and the boys were terrified of people. They avoided all contact for 4 months altho we fed them and tried to keep up with them. They stayed in the woods and out of sight most of the time. Two months before we could put hands on them our big boy hurt his front paw and was lame. When we finally caught him he had a hole in his paw that was nearly 2 inches deep. Multiple rounds of antibiotics, twice daily soaks, etc etc- every spray and treatment possible- no help- and he finally had surgery. There was a stick up in his paw. With that removed it healed over but kept breaking open. An MRI said there was nothing foreign in there but arthritis, scar tissue and damage he would have to live with. Amputation was actually discussed but it was not to that point. The sweet boy limped and obviously hurt. He was on a daily anti inflammatory Rx, expensive and not seeming to help. His wonky gait probably resulted in his slipping a disc in his back 2 months ago. That and wrestling with his brother. Finally- DUH!- it dawned on me to try glucosamine. We put castor oil and paw balm on the paw twice a day to keep it soft so it was not broken open. Two weeks after starting this supplement we started to see a difference in his comfort. He progressively got better and better. For the first time since he was initially hurt he shows no sign of any pain in his paw!!!!! He is off the Rx and is as frisky as any 5 year old furry kid could be! I am upset with myself that we didn't start him on this sooner but it's a wonderful thing to see him run normally now. Obviously effective! He is a funky boy- smart and suspicious. He seems to like the taste but he absolutely will not take any of the soft treats- I just break them up and put them in his food or he will eat around them. For our boy it has been a miracle to see him comfortable!!!

My dog is extremely picky and loves these! I tried her on the regular flavored ones and she refused to chew them! But on the peanut butter flavor she gobbled them up! She appears to be less stiff when getting up so besides tasting good, they are actually helping her.

These chews have been great for my dog. I feel like it’s improved her gut health. It did take a few weeks of use for me to start noticing the difference but other than the initial time it takes to work. I’ve been happy with it for her.

These are small, hard, and not overtly appetizing to canines. My youngest GSD will eat them, but the eldest won't touch them. The ratio of minerals in each chewable is minimal. A larger breed dog, 100+lbs requires four to five per serving, making them expensive, although less so than competing brands. I would not go out of my way to recommend this product.

Bought this for our very active 12 year old Jack Russell who started limping a bit here and there. Since we've used glucosamine on sport horses several times with great success, and since my husband and I have been taking glucosamine for humans for quite a while ourselves after limping a bit here and there... ;-) , also with great success, we started giving our pup these treats. A couple weeks and he was fine! No more weird limping and stiffness of the joints. He's running around happily like he used to before. He's not too crazy about the taste thought, some days we'll have to convince him to take his daily treat with the help of a little bit of peanut butter. But that's okay as long as it works and he's healthy. Since he's only a small pup and gets one treat per day, one jar lasts for quite a while. BTW glucosamine is the only natural stuff that actually repairs cartilage and joints, everything else only treats the symptoms. Ordered this product a couple times now and will order again.

a hit at our house - our dog didn't like the powder versions from the pet store. he gobbles this up no problem. they do however smell really bad. smells a bit like dead mouse to me but as long as the pooch likes them and his arthritis is managed I will adjust. We keep them in the bottle in a ziplock bag which helps. also am trying to keep them in fridge to see if that reduces the smell. I recommend unless you can't get past the smell. price is fair considering how many are in the tub.

My dog is 14 years old and had trouble getting up and going up stairs. One of her back legs basically had no more muscle. We tried different things the vet recommended and nothing helped, so we didn't think we had much time with her left 😔... After using this, she is doing much better, goes up stairs no problem and can run a bit again! She seems happy again. So glad we found this, I can't believe how much it has helped. Definitely worth trying if your dog is having the same problem.

I am always skeptical of anything you buy that claims to improve health for humans or our pets. There are just so many scams out there but I swear these work. My dog Denny is a Maltese/Yorkie mix he is 11 years old and just absolutely full of life and energy, the only health issues he has ever had is a loose ligament in one of his knees which didn't start slowing him down until he was about 10. He just started limping one day and it carried on for weeks so I researched what to do and decided a glucosamine joint health supplement was a good option along with rest and I built a set of stairs so he could more easily get on and off of my bed. My vet also recommended a glucosamine supplement so I knew it was probably a good idea. I searched for one that was both affordable since he would be on it for life and effective and this one seemed like the best I could find for the price. I honestly didn't believe it would make a big difference but after about a week his limp was completely and hasn't come back in 8 months. He runs up the stairs like a bullet again, he even often doesn't bother with the stairs I built him and can jump on and of the bed with relative ease. He is completely back to himself which is more than I could have asked for! Now there is a possibility this is all a coincidence but it really does seem like these things work! I also love that you get 120 and since my dog is 10lbs they last 4 months. They are also a treat he loves, I get him to do a fist bump everyday before I give him his treat and he does it with gusto every time and gobbles the treat down excitedly. They can be a bit smelly but that doesn't bother me as long as he likes them. I put these on subscribe and save which is rare for me so these are for now an essential product. Even if they do nothing it is still 120 treats he loves for a fair price.

My german shepherd won’t even try it so I don’t even know if they work unfortunately. Opened it, let him sniff it and he just walked away. Tried breaking a small piece and giving it to him, sniffed it and walked away again LOL Now i’m stuck with a tub of 180 and not sure what to do with them 😭 Going to try hiding it in his meals to see if he’ll eat them. Update: customer service is good and they have a 90 day satisfaction if your pup doesn’t like it.
