Since the waterlines are connected inside of the faucet housing, do they just snap-in, or do they need to be threaded tight with a tool?

I have this model, the hoses screw in the housing maybe 1 inch at the base of the faucet. So you can screw by hand and maybe use tool to put one turn to make sure it's snug.

The pop up drain stopper keeps sinking down to the point the water cant flush down. is there a rubber i can place to keep it from going down ?

Do you have the correct size hole . The stopper is in 2 parts. The part that pops up is the rubber and silver part goes above hole, Long tube below. Look at the pictures on the website. I had trouble too. They should have better instructions. hope this helped
