Two Games in One
Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity is an expansion of Phantasy Star Portable 2. There are two episodes within the game. Episode 1 is actually just the entire story of Phantasy Star Portable 2, which was released outside of Japan. Episode 2 is a new story that is a sequel to episode 1. Episode 1 is not a requirement to play Episode 2 nor are there any level requirements, so one can jump in and play Episode 2 right out of the box. The game itself has many new features, but is still easy to pick up and play even if one does not know Japanese. The basic gameplay may require experience from past Phantasy Star games, but people who are new to the series shouldn't have any problems figuring out the gameplay. Fan made english guides can be found online if one would need extended help with functions in the game. The game looks great and really uses the psp's hardware well. The multiplayer is fantastic for the game. PSP2 Infinity is entertaining and a great collector's item for fans of the series. Highly recommended to anyone who likes customization, hack and slash, dungeon crawler, and exploration JRPG's.

Greatest purchase I've made for this Saga.
I loved the story of this game. It would also look nice as well if it maintained everything about itself while visually looking like it was made the same way as Phantasy Star Universe and it's sequel: Ambition of the Illuminus. 10/10 for me! Currently I'm Collecting rather than Playing, since I've already beaten the game a dozen times. I'm soon gonna try to get some figurines to match with my Phantasy Star Universe Collection.

This is an AMAZING game, save for the fact that Japan never localized it in English (WHICH SUCKS!!!!), but Phantasy Star Portable has become my go to game for my hour long T rides to work, and though I can't understand a word of it (there are several translations of it online that you can read as you play), it's an awesome game [I know the story from playing PSP2 [in English], and got this one when I heard about the extended story and addition of weapons and side quests. If you've got an understanding of how the PSP games work, all you'll need is the internet, and you can enjoy the game fully. Highly recommend it, and wish there was some way to get Sega to get off their lazy butts and localize this awesome game!!!

I love this Phantasy star game
I love this Phantasy star game!! It is so fun, the story is great, customizing your character is fun...it is in Japanese though, so buy it only if you have any means of understanding it, or if you do not mind the Japanese

Too bad the selling review didn't say that
Child couldn't play it as it was in Japanese. Too bad the selling review didn't say that. Very disappointing. New game and nothing to play on it.

Infinity and beyond
This is the expansion pack of one of the greatest games on a handheld system. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes to take things to the next level.
