Easy to setup, easy to use, works with all my devices
TL;DR - Works great. Easy to use. No brainer to buy again.I had the earlier model which I happily used for probably close to 10 years. Finally, the buttons just wore out and the button that allowed me to select the TV feature just wouldn't activate. So I bought this one as a replacement. It works great. Excellent coverage. I can change boxes or stations from anywhere in the room. Intuitive buttons - better than the previous version.Programming it was a little bit of a pain. Read the instructions! If the first setting does not work, there's a shortcut to get the unit to move on to the next option!

This remote is same as original
I was totally satisified it was the very same as the one that came with the sound bar had to replace because the one I had quit working properly

Many functions just don't work
Many functions just don't work, like to start with this remote will not turn on the TV or Directv. It will turn on the blue ray DVR but none of the function keys will do anything. The volume control does not work, the channel selector doesn't work. The DVR button doesn't work. The DVR button doesn't work. The bass button doesn't work, in short this remote is a piece of junk.

This is the same remote included in the Bose Solo 5 package
I bought a Solo 5 (soundbar + this remote is in the package) a few years ago, and appreciated the unifying feature of the remote with assorted connections to the t.v. I didn't pay attention and recently bought what I thought was the same soundbar/remote set-- but it was a lesser version(called "Solo"), consisting of the same soundbar with a simple on/off/volume remote. Adding this remote on the 2nd t.v. turns it back into the Solo 5. For fewer headaches, I'd recommend buying the Solo 5 package, if you want this small Bose soundbar. If you've lost or have broken the original remote, this replaces it very nicely. When you add the cost of buying Solo 5 vs. Solo and this remote, you'll end up paying about $10 more, to buy the two items piecemeal. The remote does have the minor issue of unpairing if it's not pointed correctly at the electronic grouping, either at the right angle/or for the right length of time when you hit the power button. In my case, the soundbar and cable frequently turn on/off together, and the t.v. is out of sync. It's an easy fix though: push the t.v. button, then hit the "source power" button. Follow by hitting the cable button again, and everything's all synced up once more. My only gripe is that it won't pair up with my blu-ray no matter what I do. Still, I prefer this to the option of dealing with more remotes than I have hands.

Finally found one that works!
I finally found a remote that works with my Bose solo 5 , Direct TV and my TV. After programming the remote I can power on/off with one button, change channels, use the guide, record and do just do what I what to without having to use multiple remotes.
