Make no mistake, this is a toy. It’s cool, well built, and has a neat little coin slot which makes it a great little piggy bank. The lock seems well built and it comes with two keys so you can hide one for when you kid ultimately loses one. If I wanted to get into this thing it seems like it would be very easy to do, but it’s not made for security so it’s forgivable. It had a little compartmentalized tray that I set to the side because the compartments aren’t the right size to hold money, it had a poor fit that interferes with the locking mechanism, and it prevents coins that are dropped thru the slot from falling into the main box. But my 9 yr old son loves the color, the handle, and the cheap thrill of having his own little key for it. Good product.

We have had our lock boxes for a few years and these are such a great option for kids! It let's you keep it in their room without fear of them opening it up and losing money. We did lose one set of keys (out of the 4 boxes we bought) and the seller kindly agreed to send us a replacement set even though it was 2 years after purchase! Highly recommend!

I got these cash boxes for my kids and they worked as expected. The quality was nice. Each box came with two keys and I would advise anyone to hold onto the second key for backup. I would put a keychain or something to enlarge the keys. My kids dropped their keys through the coin slot of the locked box many times. Good thing for the backup key!

I’m actually a student in college and bought this for myself. Of course it won’t keep your money safe from people who’re determined to steal from you, but it helps deter anyone from just snatching the cash off my desk or “borrowing” coins for laundry. Again, it could be broken if one was determined enough, but it’s fairly well made and has brought about my piece of mind when I’m not in my room.

I bought one for each of my children (1 pink and 1 red), they work as expected, and are sturdy. The shelf inside for coins is a great addition. The only downside is that I let my kids decorate the outside with stickers to personalize them and the stickers don’t stay on it for long, they lifted off within a day- but that’s not a big deal, the product itself is great.
