Does the brush clean stainless steel grill grates?

It explodes on contact with stainless steel

How is this brush cleaned? It looks like gunk would get caught in the bristles.

Hi Lawrence. Rinsing under hot water for a couple of minutes is all it takes to clean these. If you wanted you could also soak them in warm soapy water. Gunk getting caught has never been an experience in our testing and we have never heard anyone experience this. Best Wishes,Jamie

Will the stainless steel bristles loosen and come out on the grill?

I have used my brush on a regular basis for two months, and I have not lost any bristles yet. I like the brush. The only issue I had was that the end piece with the hanging loop will pop out. But the brush itself is better than any of the others that I have tried. I would buy another.

is it safe for cast iron?

It works perfectly fine on my barbeque. Not really sure what my grates are, but I believe they are steel or enameled steel.

Excellent!
