This is so effective at killing mold and mildew. This is an amazing product that was recommended by a restoration team. It's easy to use and makes cleaning easy. It is worth every penny. It smells nice and is safe for pets.

Was researching cleaning air conditioners of possible mold growth and this product name came up. I sprayed it on the fan, on the bottom pan and condenser. The ozone-like smell I was getting from the unit went away. A gallon of this is enough to do all sorts of other cleaning and sanitizing as well. I also used this and ran my front load washer on a cycle to clean the tub and it smells much fresher.

I purchased the Benefect Botanical Decon 30 Disinfectant 1 month ago for our portable air conditioner to mitigate traces of mold on the interior propellers and air intake despite my monthly maintenance. I found through research that this disinfectant is safe to use- no synthetic chemicals. I sprayed the inside of the unit through the vents slowly rotating the propellers to ensure complete coverage. I let it sit to dry for several hours than inspected the inside with my led flashlight. I was impressed- all the black stuff was gone and the unit had a clean smell. I purchased a not too old ( 2018) leather sofa and chair that for some reason I had a weird allergy like reaction to once getting it home. It also had a strange smell no one in my family could smell, only me. Like an acrid scent that irritated my lungs. I purchased Decon30 and used a garden mister that you use for spraying yards for mosquitos, and moved the furniture outside into the desert sun and sprayed Decon30 all over and under. Waited 60 mins and then brought back into the house and the smell seems to be gone. I don’t know if it was bacterial or fungal smell but it’s gone. The person who owned the furniture brought it from Hawaii on a container so you never know. I do not react to the sofa anymore and the scent of this product DOES NOT bother my sensitive lungs and it’s a light thyme & lemon scent like it’s clean. Not masking.

I have been searching for years for non-toxic replacements in my home, as I have a child with lots of allergies and asthma. I was having a hard time finding cleaners that were gentle, non-toxic but still did a great job cleaning. I absolutely love this stuff. The smell is a little herbal, but I love that it doesn’t smell like chemicals. It does a super job cleaning just about everything; kitchen spills, pet messes, baby areas… my husband even used it to clean his boat and said this did the best job out of all of the products I gave him. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it’s not super affordable. On the bottle, it says not to dilute and use it as is. That means if I want to clean my floors, I have to use a whole lot of it! I just wish it was a little more cost effective, but otherwise I love it!

I use this along with a microfiber towel to clean all of my moldy items that were affected. This stuff was recommended from my mold inspector and it's worked wonderfully! I've referred it to many friends and family members who have been in need. It's amazing stuff. I even clean with it and use it in my laundry. It smells great and it's nontoxic.
