Excellent quality vanilla beans. Package is vacuum sealed and when you open it up the smell of fresh whole vanilla beans fills the air. The beans are dried but still moist enough to work with very easily. If you want them dryer, just hang them out for a while in a safe drying area. These beans are beautiful in color, size and shape and are free of abrasions. We have made vanilla extract, paste and syrup from these beans as well as french vanilla ice cream and every time we get the best vanilla flavoring in all of our goods. I ordered the 50-count Madagascar Vanilla Beans and, unless I misunderstood the product description, I only received 46 beans instead of 50. While that was a little disappointing, the quality of the beans more than made up for it. As soon as I opened the bag, I was greeted with an incredible vanilla aroma. The beans were plump, oily, moist, and full of rich vanilla caviar (“meat”). They looked extremely fresh and were very easy to split. The quality exceeded my expectations, and it was obvious that these are premium vanilla beans. I used them to start a batch of homemade vanilla extract, and I couldn’t be happier with how they look and smell. Despite being a few beans short, I am very impressed with the overall quality and would definitely consider purchasing from this seller again. If the count had been correct, this would easily have been a 5-star purchase!

I got these to make a big mother jar of extract 64oz and they are great quality. They are plump and soft. I'll definitely purchase again for top offs. I used my scale and they came out to be 4.25 Oz and all 50 were there.
