Comes in five different types to suit all single use applications. ?What type is offered?

Not sure why it comes in different types but I bought the original and they worked great . We refinished hard wood floors and used them between coats of urethane and they held up well

Is this good for cleaning drywall dust off painted walls?

Yes because I use it to clean painted furniture after sanding.

These are very large, are you supposed to cut them into smaller pieces?

Yes, in our shop we cut them in half. Each half is unfolded to present a fresh face between coats of varnish or paint. We use them on only one mfg product and then dispose.

it is most often used on wood as the last step before painting or staining: sand, vacuum, wipe down with cloth, tack cloth then paint/stain etc.
