Mega Construx Kubros Masters of The Universe Skeletor Building Kit

An improvement, in my opinion, of Lego's brick heads line. I love that the details are built rather than printed. I was pleasantly surprised by the sculpt of the figure. It also has three points of articulation. The head moves side to side and the arms can move up and down. Cape details, loin cloth, and shoulder armor all represented simply and effectively. (few bricks are used but it's clear what they are)Unfortunately, there are a couple small buyer beware points that I feel I should point out.1. This is not a sturdy build. In several places, parts are held together by only two studs. This makes Skeletor more suitable as a display set than a play set. If you are not careful, pieces will fall off even when moving the arms and head.2. Purple color is not consistent. Some bricks are brighter purple and others darker. Also the face pieces on mine look to be a darker yellow instead of the more cream color on the box. This was my only true disappointment as the color on the box looks so much better. I don't know if all the sets will be the more yellow skull like mine or if this is another color inconsistency like with the purple.

Great figures and right now the only legit building sets for Masters of the Universe. Draws inspiration from both the original Mattel toy, the 200X Series(the cape and some of the armor) and the Filmation cartoon. Even has an image of Filmation Skeletor on side of Box. Hope this series gets more like She-Ra, Hordak, Teela, Orko, and the rest of the main cast from the cartoons, comics, and toys.

First one I got that was missing a piece, but MegaBloks makes it impossible to get a replacement as you have to sign up and the sign up does not work. Finally tracked down an e-mail for them & a social page but have received no response from either.

Ein Must Have für Fans von MotU. Klemmkraft, Steinequalität allg. wesentlich besser als die vom Dänischen Hersteller, habe schon viele Mega Construx Sets gebaut und finde die Qualität der Steine um einiges besser als die des dänischen Herstellers, vor allem die Klemmkraft - Kinder könnten da Schwierigkeiten bekommen.Auch hier wieder viele Steine verbaut, die es so bei anderen Herstellern nicht gibt. Die Anleitung ist Brickheadz typisch sehr klein, es läßt sich aber sehr gut danach bauen. Insgesamt ein großer Gaudi, dieses Set. Zielgeuppe dürften, wie ich auch, aber eher Erwachsene mit Kindheitserinnerungen sein.Arme und Kopf lassen sich drehen, daher wäre auch ein gewisser Spielwert gegeben, die große Klemmkraft sollte auch dafür sorgen, das ein Kind das nicht sofort zerbröselt

Die Klemmkraft und die Qualität der Steine ist super, alle Steine waren vorhanden. Die Verpackung schön und meiner Meinung nach hochwertig gestaltet. Eine schöne eigenständige Alternative zu den Brickhaedz von Lego, mit anderen Serien die es von Lego nicht gibt.
