Update! 5.21.21After we laughed at the size of the cute baby tiny hooks we tried the largest size. First cast and caught a decent size perch. He swallowed the hook but he was definitely on there. To compare I cast out with a cheaper hook about the same size that came free with a tackle box. I caught one but he literally almost got away. Tested one more of the hooks that came with the set, and bam caught another and he was on there good. They are very sharp, a decent shape. Pretty sure the first picture that depicts the tiniest size I could not even thread, but actually impressed with the largest size. I do not believe we will catch a big cat or anything of substantial size with them, so again as stated in my first review, read the description closely and the sizes. My hubby didn’t but I have to admit after catching 4 in 30 minutes I’m no longer skeptical.1rst review:Oh my! Well this gave us a good laugh anyway. Is this a joke for the world’s smallest fish? Perhaps minnows? My hubby bought these online and not sure if he didn’t notice size of them but busted out laughing when we opened them. My hands are small, but pretty sure the picture does it more justice we took, than the item description pictures posted here on Amazon. Lesson learned and the 1 star if for the laugh we got and to share with friends and family. Buyer beware and read dimensions closely! The small pinhead size item beside it is a weight, lol. Separate rating will be posted for it. Not wasting our time returning and definitely get exactly what you pay for and no more.

Only issue is that most of the hooks in the assortment are too small for the fishing I do. I normally use nothing smaller than a no. 10. In spite of this. It's a good price for the hooks I use. And they catch fish very well. Good barb to prevent losing fish. Short shift to keep them easy for a fish to take into their mouth.
