Will this work with mk7 gti?

Well the answer to that needs more information, is your GTI a manual or a DSG? If it is a DSG then doubtful as those take special fluids. Also note this is gear oil meant for a limited slip differential; separate from a transmission as in a RWD car. In a Rear Wheel Drive car the differential and transmission do not share a common housing (unless it's a rear transaxle setup and that is quite rare) and fluids. Not sure if this would work in a transaxle based FWD transmission or not. What does your owner's manual say to use? Fluids meant for limited slip diffs might not be right for your GTI, even if it does have a limited slip since it would share the oil with the gearbox.

The picture does not have the letters "LS" after the "300." Is this the product that contains friction modifiers for use with LSDs? It matters . . .

The image currently shown isn't correct for the product name in the header - It shows the Gear 300 which isn't specifically for Limited Slip diffs, however the Gear 300 LS DOES contain the needed friction modifiers.
