Good introduction but takes you nowhere
The content is not bad. There was a printing mistake in one of the chapters. The code that was supposed to be in one file was part of another file. The example are good but too many simple examples. It would have been better less examples but more complete ones. On the other hand, the examples run well in the emulator but I have tried to deploy them in a real device with no success. I'm still trying to figure out how to do this because if you can't deploy an app then it's useless. If I manage to deploy in a real device then I will append this review but for now, it's how it is.

Excellent hands-on approach to learning Xamarin
I did every project in the book. The teaching quality is excellent! It is a well-rounded approach to learning all about Xamarin Forms and developing cross-platform mobile apps. I would give it five stars but, there were a couple things lacking, in my opinion. I really would like more pictures of the final app that we are developing in each chapter. They had a few pics but not enough. Also, they did not have an example of a CRUD application where you build your own API backend with your own database and make calls to the API to get and save data in your database. That would have been really helpful since that is what I am asked to do most of the time in my job. And at least one project example using the Prism library would have been helpful too. It is mentioned in the book but not used. Otherwise a great read and a superb intro into all things Xamarin!
