This product did just what I wanted it to, which is not necessarily what it was designed for. I have a leg length discrepancy and I wanted to wear a lift and hold it to my foot while walking around in socks or even barefoot. When I looked at the pictures it seemed that the product rose high on the achilles and not as far toward the arch of the foot in some pictures and the opposit in others. In fact, it IS longer in one direction but can be worn either way. I placed the longest side under my foot and slipped a lift between the gel and my heel. It took some getting used to and adjusting, but I can wear it all day and even in sandals. It is a little sticky (good for keeping in the lift) so I have to open the sandals. With socks on, I can slip into any shoe I want (I use a shoe horn) without having to move a lift or orthodic from one shoe to another. As intended, this product provides a gentle cushioning without a lot of bulk. It will also keep your shoes from slipping on the heel. (They are a little tight in a woman's dress shoe). I was worried they would be hot, but I have not found that to be the case. I live in the desert, so dry heat may help in this respect. As an added bonus, my heels are now soft and smooth. You can't wear them to bed; they stick to the sheets! AMENDMENT: So after 8 days of wearing these (never barefoot outdoors) a small tear showed up in the top ankle portion of the one I do NOT use the lift in. I do not know what might have nicked that part of the product, but as I worried, it is growing longer and I suspect will render protector unusable very soon. I thought I was being very careful putting them on and taking them off and not over stretching them.

Unfortunately, I did not have success with the item that fits over the foot. It has a seam in the toe area which caused quite an abrasion to my big toe. I wore a sock with it the next night and it helped some but not enough. The heel cushion didn't do much of anything. I have shoe inserts that provide much better relief. Hopefully others have better success with your products. They just didn't work for me.

They didn't make my feet pain free, but they absolutely do help. Usually, walking around a grocery store for more than 20 minutes causes major pain, but I spent an hour walking around and I was much more comfortable. I wish they could somehow make the strap that comes over the top of your foot fabric, or lined with fabric because it "sticks" to the skin and is slightly annoying, but not horrible. Overall, I'll be happily using these to minimize my heel pain.

I've been dealing with a PF issue in my left foot for the better part of a year. These gel sleeves were a great find to provide some heel pain relief and, hopefully, aid the long, slow healing process that comes with PF. I am using them along with an orthotic. The combination of the two with the extra cushion coming from this gel sleeve and the firm support provided by the orthotic has been a good approach for me. I've not yet experienced any problems with these sleeves, but they do require a small amount of care & maintenance. I swap out for a fresh one each morning and give the old one a quick wash with warm water and mild soap. I've also found that dusting them with talc or powder (I use talc-based Baby Powder) just before wearing helps immensely with getting it on and positioned correctly. It also helps to provide all-day comfort with fewer sweat-related issues. I wear a sock over them at all times. It takes a little extra work to get things well-positioned, but it's not difficult and once in good shape it stays in place until I take it off at the end of the day. They are thin enough that I can easily wear athletic socks over them and still comfortably fit into my athletic shoes (with orthotics) for my daily workouts. I don't intend to wear these without socks, but if one wanted to they could without being conspicuous. The neutral color and translucence make them barely noticeable. However, I suspect the additional friction from not wearing socks over them would significantly shorten the service life. Overall a very good and inexpensive aid for those dealing with heel pain from Plantar Fasciitis and/or heel spurs.

This product is a good idea but it lasted about 3 weeks only before breaking. It works and keeps my heel from drying out but it should be made better. 3 weeks of use approximately is poor performance. Received product on April 11th. Product failed on May 2nd. Two photos attached of torn heel cushion foot sleeve. June 9, 2017: I purchased two (2) more pair of these foot sleeves because I need a product like this so that my heel does not dry out and crack. Unfortunately, this product breaks quickly. This week I wore the new heel pad 3 times and then it broke, just as before. These heel sleeves simply are poorly constructed. It should be very easy to select materials that will not tear so quickly. I am going to have to find another company that sells a product that does not break down and tear after only minimal use. This company could easily introduce a product that does not break down and fail so quickly if it was so inclined. I would not sell a product that is this unfit. It is a real shame. I am better off simply placing a think plastic bag over my heel and wrapping it around my ankle underneath a sock in order to keep my heel moist while wearing footwear. Seriously, you are better off using a recycled produce plastic bag from the market and which I have tried and which works much better. I was simply seeking a hopefully more specific medical industry solution. DAKINE™ makes a swim fin neopreme sock to protect the foot from blisters while swimming with fins and it is a great product that is resilient and well built. It is too thick to wear with footwear and it is not the right material to keep the foot moist or I would use it instead of this foot sleeve, but it is an example of a well constructed device/sleeve. I would like to see PediDocTM introduce a new product that offers at least reasonable quality and durability.

I really do like the concept of this product. I wear it with my work shoes and i will add its a pain trying to get dress socks over the product without it bunching up. Probably for the first week or so it worked good. After that however it seemed to have stretched out. It no longer holds form on my heel and always bunches up and comes off my heel. This makes it essentially useless, unless your readjusting it every few hours. Im maybe thinking different sizing or maybe different material well hold better throughout the day.

Not sure why, the product is so simple, but my heal pain is gone. Recently shown he xray showing the bone spur causing the pain. Have tried different shoes, heal pads, socks, and several different ortho insoles. This worked right away and after a week can walk to the bathroom in bare feet with no pain. Will need to wear much longer to heal the spur,but aM extremely happy with my purchase! Definitely recommend. Comfortable, easy to wash. A little hard to get commpression socks (20-30) over, but doable. Normal socks ok. No issues with blisters, rubbing, or being to tight. Love these. Update - no longer able to get on compression socks without extreme amount of effort. If you have socks that slip with shoes they will cause the insert to slip as well. As they warm up they are easier to stretch/fold and create a wrinkle. I am spending more time getting them in to position, but they are still working (no pain) so I will continue to wear them.

These are useless for every and any reason you can imagine. They are toooo big so they move around easily as you walk. They make your feet sweat profusely which makes them move around even more. The gel they're comprised of does absolutely nothing for plantar fasciitis because there is absolutely NO compression. This purchase was a waste of money. It's actually a big scam. Don't fall for it.
