No Sunflower seeds

Birds love it
This works great for my birds, even though it contains sunflower seeds. To decrease the amount of sunflower seeds in the seed mixture I feed our birds, I add another seed mixture to this that has no sunflower seeds and then I have a perfect mix for our parrots.

Food is fresh
The food is fresh and contains a reasonable variety of seeds and almonds. I always mix with pellets and cracked nuts since only seeds isn't healthy. My macaw doesn't eat the safflower seeds which is the majority of the content. This mix works better for my smaller birds.

Sweet Harvest Parrot Bird Food (No Sunflower Seeds)
So far so good... This is my second time purchasing this mix and my parrots seem to like it. I always add fresh fruit, veggies, legumes and many other foods to my parrots' mix, and will do so no matter what mix I purchase. I've enjoyed finding some dried fruits and veggies in this wonderful bag of nutritious parrot food: apples, bananas, dates, carrots, peppers and nuts and seeds. I'll continue to buy. *** I have a Blue and Gold Macaw, Yellow- Naped Amazon, and an Orange- Winged Amazon. I never rely on only a bag of seed/nut mix for my birds. I appreciate that this bag is not filled with corn kernels and dyed things.

My cockatoo loves it.
The price for the amount is awesome. I also love that it doesn't have sunflower seeds. I like giving my birds sunflower seeds separately as treats, and this seed mix allows me to do that. It also has a really good variety and mixes well with other types of foods. I believe this is the second bag I've purchased, and I will keep purchasing since my Cockatoo seems to really like it also.

Better food out there!
First, I want to say that it arrived sealed and fresh and the bag has a zip lock at the top which I love. Secondly, I bought this to add as a mix with my African Greys pellet diet. This food is like 98% safflower seed. The pictures were very misleading. This is definitely not something to feed as part of a main diet. I wouldn't buy this mix again for that reason. Save your money and purchase something else.
