Ordered the Comhats Womens Summer Flap Cover Cap in a size large for a trip to Hawaii. The hat is a little dorky looking, and the size runs small for a large, but the light weight made is seem more portable than the other two "packable" hats I ordered - a straw hat, and a x-wide brim canvas hat - both were size large & fit my head better ("one size fits all" are always too small for me).The Comhat turned out to be a great hat for hiking, bike riding, kayaking etc - the brim width was just right for blocking the sun & rain, it dried quickly and I could smush it into my small backpack without having it lose its shape. Also, due to the tighter fit (not uncomfortable), the hat stayed on my head in high winds, or sometimes I used the adjustable chin strap included with the hat.

It was perfect for sitting on the patio and shielding my face and neck from the sun.

I love the hat,it fits my big head, looks good, goes with any type of outfit. The only thing that I wish it had is a ponytail opening. But rather than that it's perfect.

The brim is slightly 'stiff' in front (not floppy) so better coverage. Nicely finished hat.

Love the hat. Fits great, looks good. I folded it up in the back to show the lining and pinned the bow on there to hold it. The brim is wide enough to shield my entire face (most sun hats leave my face exposed below nose level). The only reason I took off a star is that, because the hat is reversible (I don't plan to reverse it) the strap is removable, and the attachments for the strap are very stiff plastic, extremely difficult to manipulate, very frustrating. I had to ask my husband to help me get the strap onto the hat, and when I wear it I can feel the plastic pieces rubbing on the side of my face. I like the hat so much I'm considering remodeling the strap somehow to get rid of the plastic attachments and just permanently stitch the strap ends onto the loops. Anyway, I'm very happy with the hat even though the strap is bugging me (and you will need the strap because the width of the brim turns this hat into a sail with any gust of wind, or even just breezy conditions).

I ordered the black polka dotted hat with the bow for my mom & she loves it. Ordered myself the gray with blue inside, perhaps it was the way it was packed, but there's a crease that won't go away with steam & ironing (unfortunately the crease is in the middle of the bill, causing it to fold to a point while I wear it). Other than that, both of the hats are very cute & we chose these hats because of the neck coverage & chin strap.

This review is for style 16008_Beige, with floral brim.Arrived quickly, (next day via Amazon Prime) for holiday in Spain and the hat was as described.Perfect for the holiday. Lightweight, stylish, well made and gave very good protection from the sun. The brim of the hat is wired so you can shape it to whatever you wish.The hat is adjustable for fit via a Velcro tape inside the hats lining, it also has a removable lightweight chin strap for windy days which proved very useful. The strap can be tucked inside the hat when not required or unclipped and stored inside the lining.All in all I couldn't fault it.

I think I’ve got every situation covered on a boat trip, at the beach, in the sea and the swimming pool. I was really impressed with this lightweight, comfy and versatile hat. I forgot the detachable chin strap in the hotel so I used the strap around the brim to tie under my chin. It kept the sun off my face and I had no headaches from being outdoors all day.

I'm not usually a hat person and I do like them, just not on me. I have very fine hair that goes flat quite quickly, so when I wear a hat and take it off it looks, well, like I've been wearing a hat. And unfortunately it just doesn't bounce back. I bought this though because I liked the look of it and it serves a purpose.Arrived earlier than expected (when I ordered mine there was no protective face shield on offer so I can't comment on that) and well packaged, if a little creased, which I'm sure will drop out in use. It is exactly as described and pictured and was a perfect fit (got my son to measure my head to make sure). The wire that helps the brim keep its shape is just over an inch from the very edge of the hat and does its job well if you need to flick the brim up at the front or wherever is needed. The hat is lightweight and pretty and stays on well with the help of the adjustable chin strap cord if necessary.For me though it will only see the sun when I'm gardening. It protects both my face and neck, whatever is needed. I have very fair skin, burn easily and have a problem with suntan cream on my face so this one was the perfect hat for me.Recommended.

Arriving just in time for a heatwave, I am finding this cool and comfortable to wear. I was delighted to find the chinstrap is easily removed, and easily added back on if wanted. The broad brim at the front is stiff so it holds its shape and does not flap in my face, and shades my eyes and face well. The back part of the brim, like the crown, is made of soft cotton fabric, and gives good neck protection. The decorative tie cord around the crown functions as a drawstring to tighten the fit if needed. I do have a large-ish head, this hat fits perfectly. It folds flat for packing, but I have to be careful not to crease the brim. This was definitely a great buy. I may have thought it a bit pricey at the point of purchase, but I certainly don’t now!

Hat fits well and looks good on. It covers the base of your neck and shades your face which is perfect if you want to or need to keep out of the suns burning rays. It folds in half which does crease the hat a little but not so bad that you couldn't wear it, in fact it is not noticeable once you put it on. I am sure I will get a lot of years use from it
