Phoenix Hair Straightener Brush and Ceramic Dryer with US Plug

I just finished using this brush and I AM IN SHOCK! This ceramic brush straightener has totally blown my mind. It took less than 10 min. for me to straighten my Afro-American hair. First I blow dried my hair and it was as poofy as a poodle, then I turned on the ceramic brush and in a minute or less it was green, ready to go. I was doubtful but after I slowly stroked the brush through my hair, I was amazed! It immediately, with one stroke, straightened my hair to silky softness (do not expect it to be as flat as a flat iron). I prefer my hair to have some volume so I was not looking for the super straight look. This brush got rid of the frizz and poof and left my hair soft and smooth, so now all I have to do is "rag tie" my hair for curls or use flexi-rods or pin curl it over night. (I don't like to use heat to curl my hair.) I am so impressed with this MUST-HAVE device, that I am buying one for my best friend's birthday this month. I know she is going to say it is the BEST gift EVER!

This works well on long, and aging hair. Despite claims from the manufacturer, I'm not sure this doesn't hurt hair, it says to use argon oil every time. Overall, I am quite pleased that it does straighten hair and I can use it on damp hair without the noise of a blow-dryer. Hair isn't as sleek as when a flatiron is used, except I frequently manage to put in a crease when using flatirons so for me, the aspect of slowly brushing hair and while holding a conversation makes it's use less tedious than the flatiron. I do recommend use of a silicon glove for people who aren't very proficient in using hot hair styling devices, and I wouldn't let a tween use this.

I love to flat iron my hair when I have the time (I work fill time and have 2 kids so I dont flat iron much anymore) and I wanted to give this a shot. It worked ok. I have wavey hair and I felt like I still had some wave left after using this. I know this is not a flat iron but I was just hoping for something more. It does work pretty fast though and doesn't get super hot

Heats up fast and works great as a straightener for those "in-between times." I still won't replace my flatiron, as this won't get in close to the scalp to tame those curlies. Needs less skill than a flatiron too.

So far, we have only used it on our dry hair, but it works like a dream! So pleased! My ten year old is able to use it to smooth her hair with no trouble. It is faster than a straightening iron, which surprised us as we went slow with this tool. It didn't leave our hair stick straight like a straightening iron, its more of a smooth texture. We felt polished. When we used it, we brushed through our hair with a regular brush, then began using the tool by holding a bit of tension on our ends and brushing slowly through the top side then the bottom of the section. We used protectant spray.

Are you kidding me? This thing rocks! My hair is super curly and it takes a while to dry and a LONGER while to flat iron. The first time I used it I let my hair air dry in the morning. When I got home from work, I used the brush and my hair was straight in about 8 minutes. Not only is it faster than the flat iron, it doesn't make your hair flat. It actually has body. I liked it so much that I bought one for a friend a few days later and her exact words after using it were "It changed my life!"

The brush is awesome and works anazing. However, because it doesnt get as close to your roots as a flat iron would, I felt it left my hair with too much volume. Other than that I give this brush a 98%

Doesn't work well at all, but I find that with all straightening brushes. Actually takes longer to do this because you have to use a flat iron afterwards anyway so instead of saving time you have to straighten your hair twice. I'll stay with the flat iron.
