Works great and very adjustable, a bargain for the price
I bought this stand because I thought it would be tall enough to stand on the floor and still hold the monitors above the desk, so I could move my monitors off of my desk. First, I'll say that the stand isn't really stable enough to hold my monitors (24" and 15 lbs each) without wanting to fall forward. But since I had the stand behind my desk, I was able to lean it against the back of the desk. It worked perfectly well when set up like that. If you don't like the idea of the stand leaning against your desk, though, see my "EXTRA" section below.Apart from the issue noted above, everything else about the stand works great, especially considering the price. It allows for adjustment in all directions (forward/back, left/right, tilt up/down, and rotate). I was able to position my monitors exactly how I wanted them, and I still have about 5" of clearance between the bottom of the monitors and the top of my desk, which opens up a lot of space that had been wasted by the monitor bases. I have many devices on my desk (USB hub, KVM switch, etc.) that would be taking up valuable desk space, but now I have them tucked underneath and behind the monitors. I hate clutter, and this solution lets me reduce the feeling of clutter on my desk. I'm very happy with the purchase.EXTRA: I have a glass-topped desk, so I was a little uneasy with the idea of the glass supporting the weight of the bar leaning forward. I bought a clamp used to hold a fishing rod on a boat, and instead used it to hold the bar to the frame supporting the glass. It worked perfectly. The part that would normally hold a fishing rod is exactly the same diameter as the vertical bar on the stand, and it has two C-clamps that I clamped to the desk frame (not the glass itself, but the metal frame that holds the glass). The whole setup is solid as a rock now - The vertical bar doesn't move, my glass is protected, and now I can adjust the monitors with one hand (previously, I had to hold the vertical bar with one hand while making any adjustments, but now the vertical bar is solidly fixed in place). Note that if I had a wooden or metal desk, I may have never considered clamping the vertical bar to the desk, because monitor adjustments are typically a one-time thing. But if I ever switch away from the glass-topped desk, I'm glad I have this solution already in hand.

great sturdy and tall stand. good purchase
I had this stand in the regular height version and used it for 4 years with no problem, but when I upgraded to 32 inch monitors that stand stalk was not long enough for me to raise the 32 inch monitor above the open laptop lid in the desk. So I purchased this taller version. I assembled the stand and put the mounting plate on the back of each monitor. It comes with allen wrenches and I think I used my philips screwdriver on the base. I found it easier to place the monitor with plate on the stand when the monitors were on the carpet, using a tape measure to determine how high up to place them. Then I attached the locking hex cap and swung the stand upright and onto my desk. After sitting down and some positioning I did take it back down once to lower by an inch.Technically this stand does max out at 27 inch monitor size but I was able to put two 32 inch ones up with just a little bevel overlap. Your positioning options are constrained but it works. The pivot bracket is a little jiggly when you are adjusting it but once in place it works well. Be sure to keep the weight centered left/right (it won’t balance with just 1 monitor) and forward/backwards but I’m quite satisfied with the result.Price was great and the overall build quality is solid. I like this better than a clamp on my desk. When I tilt the stand with my hand it does not want to fall.If your 2 monitors are different in terms of the mounting hole location you may not be able to make the top of the monitors even- this type of stand has both arms at the same height and the independent adjustment height is probably less than an inch. There were mounting screws in the package but my LG and Asus monitors already had screws in place. It also has spacers for curved monitors.

Perfect for my needs
I needed a mount that didn’t have to be mounted to my desk and this one worked perfectly I did have to prop it up just to make it about 4 inches higher but overall it’s perfect and very sturdy great quality free standing mount

Stand in strong and durable for multiple monitors.
I set the the stand up with a 27" wide monitor and did not have problems with the stand tilting over. I currently have a 24" monitor that I recently installed. The stand just needs to be properly aligned with even weight disturbed to avoid the stand from tilting over. I was surprise how well the monitor holds up, did not even clamp the stand down to the table. I just found the optimal center of gravity for the stand so the monitor do not tilt over. It very sturdy and well worth the investment for using multiple elevated monitors. Highly recommend for Traders or anyone who needs multiple monitors setups.
