I Was nervous about now buying actual madela brand parts as I don't usually search for cheaper unbranded alternatives. However, after I melted most of my pump parts while sterilizing (whoops! Baby brain??) I had a really hard time finding replacement parts at babies r us and other local baby store in Vancouver. Glad I tried these ones - they are comparable in quality and Fit my madela pump in style. I've used them for 3 months now and they continue to be in good condition. One thing to note is that the madela pump thing is 2 detachable parts and this one is 1 part that doesn't detach. No big deal for me but something to be aware of.

I purchased this item becaused i was pumping my milk every two hours and i didn't want to spend the night washing the apparatus after each use. I found that it is good value for money. Of course, the original mendela is a bit better (eg. I use the silicone cups that are softer), but in terms of functionality is just as good.Just make sure that you have the right pump, however. I didn't notice that it is not compatible with the Medela symphony i had rented or my swing: the tubing lacks the second insert. Luckily, In my case, it doesn't matter, because i have the original tubing.
