Will this start a completely dead battery for a gmc duramax 6.6 liter diesel?

You are not jump starting your car battery, you are jump starting your starter that starts the engine. Once the engine is running your alternator-regulator starts to recharge the dead battery. If the dead battery has internal cells that are shorted, the battery overheats and gases that leaks acid . So you should replace the battery if it does not read exactly 12 VDC when the engine is turned off. Remember you are not jump starting your car battery, you are providing 1500VA to the starter. What are the Watt hrs. of the internal battery ?

The voltage varies between about 13V and 16.5V, with a nominal of 14.8V.  I measured about 4Ah of capacity, by measuring the current and time to discharge and charge.  So the watt hours would be about 59Wh.

Can it jumper start extreme discharge car battery,like a very low voltage?

Agree with others answers. I had a dead battery (zero volts) and there was no override option. I tried using this and unsuccessful. Thankfully, I had another jump starter in the car (Noco gb40) that has the override option. Car started in 2 tries. Im returning the avapow.

Can i leave it plug in and charging  when not in use?

Yes, but best to remove for longer life expectancy once the the bar gage is solid green and not blinking. When you first receive it may take a little over an hour to recharge the device. Answered by an electrical power electronics engineer.
