NonScents Odor Control Cat Litter Deodorizer - Professional Strength Odor Neutralizer, 16oz

This product works as described, it is fragrance free though it does have a slight natural odor in the container (concentrated) but not once sprinkled on the litter. I use a health monitoring silica crystal cat litter which is non-clumping and is great because my cat urinates a lot and I used to be carrying in large amounts of cat litter and carrying out large amounts of cat litter in the trash when I still used the regular clumping litter . Now my litter last for a month especially with the use of this deodorizer! I remove the solid waste daily and thoroughly stir the litter around as directed and then top it off with a light coating of NonScents . I live in a very small apartment, 649 ft.², and no one can tell that a litter box is in this apartment much less right there in the sunroom not that far from the sofa (It is hidden in a cabinet). I have instructed family members to tell me if they ever smelled the litter box and they would but they never have . I will continue using NonScents to extend the life of my super lightweight but slightly expensive cat litter. It is absolutely worth it to me; I believe I have come upon the best combination of litter box, litter, and deodorizer set up (along with my cat litter genie of course.). It is so quick and simple to take care of my girls box the way she deserves it 😺🐾. Before I started using this product I could notice a bit of odor as urine built up in the silica crystals near the end of the life of the litter; it was not the strong odor of cat urine, but more a mild odd odor, but still not a odor I wanted. NonScents immediately took care of that issue, my cat does not seem to notice it and was not put off with it in any way. I really appreciate the fact that there are no perfumes in this product as cats are extremely sensitive to those kinds of things .

NonScents Odor Control Cat Litter was an item I decided to purchase for my 4 kittens after seeing it as a recommend item after I added a similar item to my cart. I looked at the item specifications also the read the reviews which looked positive. I just purchased my second bottle after having much success with the first bottle. It really has helped me with my litter box odor so, I will continue to purchase this brand.When I received my first bottle, I had just cleaned out my litter boxes. I now have 4 litter boxes in total, 3 in the house and 1 by the pool area. I added 1 capful at the bottom of the litter and then 3 capfuls on top of the litter. Then afterwards, when I scooped the litter box 3-4 times a day, I added a capful. I didn’t immediately notice a difference but after several days of use, is when I could tell that it was working. Since using NonScents, I have been able to go longer before having to completely change out the litter box. This has been a great cost saver. This product may be more expensive than other brands but I have found that I am saving money on how much litter I need to buy. So, in the end it all works out as a big plus.I have read many reviews where these granules smell like bleach and in a way, it does but not like straight bleach out of the bottle. To me, it is more like a very clean scent that smells like a load of laundry that has had bleach added to it, instead of an overpowering perfume smell. That is the only way I can explain it. I personally love the smell of laundry that smells like fresh linen bleach, like white sheets and white towels. I will agree that this brand is much stronger compared to what I have tried but, it does say that it is 4 times stronger.Going forward, if I continue to use NonScents I will purchase it in bulk as some customers have suggested. This way, it will be a cost savings and I will always have it on hand. I personally like this brand and it has really helped control the odor from the litter boxes. My kittens have not had a problem using their litter box since I have tried this new product. This is a product that I would recommend.

*update*It does work. Turns out I wasn't using enough. I used 3 capfuls this time and my cat just took a poop and i could smell it right away. However the smell disappeared within 5 minutes, so it does work!I'm gonna say the $10 bottle will be good for around 3 uses if you have to use 3 capfuls every time, which I think is a lot. I would have thought this could have lasted me longer because of the price. We'll have to see how long it takes until the box starts smelling again.*old review*This is my first experience with any kind of litter box deodorizer, so I'm not sure if i'm expecting too much. But.....I'm not sure if this does anything. Or if it does, it's very slight. I also think it smells kinda funky. I sprinkle a thin layer over the litter (or as it says on label 1-3 capfuls, but 3 capfuls looks slightly less than half the container.....), and then wait for him to use the box. He seemed weirded out by it at first, he would come by the box and sniff and walk away, but he finally used it. He was probably wondering what I put into it because if I can smell this, he can too.That's another thing, this stuff smells. I thought it was odorless? Or maybe it's more like "this smells but only naturally, no added chemicals, so we're gonna call it odorless!", that kind of thing? To be honest though, I didn't notice it at first. I have my cat's litter box in my room and it took maybe 30 minutes to notice it. Or should I say, it took me 30 minutes to develop a slight headache and then notice the smell, and then trace it back to the litter box. I thought it kinda smelled like bleach, like some kind of cleaning thing. I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I think the most accurate would be: it smells like a type of laundry detergent. It even looks like it.... I'm talking about the laundry detergent that sometimes comes in a box and then you just scoop it to put into your laundry. The grainy one.... Again not very specific but I'm hoping you know what I'm talking about as I've only had like 2 experiences not using liquid detergent and those times were during childhood. The scent is like if you would take away the scent of the laundry detergent and all that's left is the crisp kinda chemically smell. It stings my nose whenever I catch a whiff of it. So I can say that I definitely don't like that part of this product.....but I can still smell his poop...........so much so that I have to open the window to air it out. And it's October... in Wisconsin. I do use only a very thin layer, just enough to cover the top layer of litter. Maybe I have to use more? But if I do do three capfuls, this product will be gone in no time.So in conclusion: I don't like the smell (it makes my nose and brain cringe) and I can still smell his poop. And in the chance that I'm not using enough to create a layer, this product will probably only be good for 3 uses if that. Now if those 3 uses were 3 months of odor free, I would consider raising my stars for the review. But then only to 3 stars because if a thin layer covering is enough to give me a slight headache with cringing eyes and stinging nose, what will 3 capfuls do to me? And again, this is coming from someone who's never bought any litter box deodorizer before, so I could be doing everything wrong. Take my review as you will.

When I sprinkled on some, the smell disappeared instantly! What a super product! The best ever.
