All Around Fantastic
Of the two "talking" toys our daughter received for Christmas, this one is her favorite. I like that it has a kid-sounding voice rather than an adult talking cutesy. It has multiple different modes. The little yellow button switches between piano, guitar, solmization (do-re-mi), trumpet and maybe one more. I forget. There's a "switch" on the right that she's had no trouble changing, though she obviously doesn't know the difference. It changes between glockenspiel, xylophone, animals and colors. Like one of the video reviews demonstrated, some of the words can accidentally sound "dirty" but, well, it's a kid's toy. Hardly the first time I've heard one do that. In this case, "four" sounds a bit like "whore," and "horse" sounds a bit like "whores." The "bye-bye" it says when not interacted with for awhile oddly sounds like "Tie-Tie," but since this happens to be a nickname we use for her, it usually just ends up drawing her attention back to it.In addition to all of the above, there are also five more additional modes, including one where you smack the drums that light up. Our nearly 8-month-old is still too young to follow that, but she sure loves hitting/chewing the cymbal and watching the flashing lights. And did I mention it also has detachable legs as well for both tummy and sitting play? Because it does. Not to mention the drumsticks that can be stored on the bottom of the unit to prevent them from getting lost. All in all, this item has been amazing, especially given the price paid. It's one of her favorite toys to play with, so much so that the more expensive Fisher Price interactive toy she got from her grandparents barely gets any attention!Update 1 Aug 2022: A year and a half later, and she still loves this toy. It's one of the ones she pulls into bed with her when she wakes up in the middle of the night (albeit turned off because no noisy toys when it's sleeping time). We took the drumsticks away at some point between this update and the original review because we were concerned that her chewing on them was starting to crack the sticks and didn't want the head of it to come off in her mouth. Other than that, the toy has been great. Only had to replace the batteries a handful of times thanks to it putting itself to sleep. Looks like she'll get further use out of it yet!

Favorite toy for 8 month old.
She loves to tap the drums and symbol, in addition loves the songs and keys. Her go to even after 4 weeks of continuous play!

Don't count on a specific color
I ordered the pinknone and was sent the green one. Not as large as I thought it would be. Other then that looks to be as the picture is.
