After I dropped my Chromebook, this saved me $$$ on fixing my Acer C720 with a broken screen
Perfect fit for my Acer C720. Very easy to install and saved me a lot of money. I am so glad that I bought this.Recently, I dropped my Acer C720 a short distance onto a hardwood floor. As a result, it was booting to a white screen with a few vertical lines. It still worked with an external display. I contacted Acer to get it fixed, but it would have cost $129. I searched Amazon and found this replacement screen for under $40. I ordered it and had it delivered for free with my Prime account. It arrived promptly and fit perfectly. No dead pixels or anything negative. The repair was simple, I just followed instructions that I found on youtube. You just need standard tools to fix it. Really a good experience.

Installed in minutes into a Samsung XE501C13
Day 5 of school at home during quarantine somehow my daughter broke the screen in her chromebook. Did a little research and this was the quickest/lowest price screen I could get to replace it. Packaging of the screen could be better the metal tabs that mount the screen on each side were bent. There was only a loop of bubble wrap around the screen, top to bottom. That left the ends where the tabs are vulnerable to smashing against the end of the box. This was really not a big deal, because the tabs are very thin metal and I was able to straighten them quickly and easily. Screen looks to be equivalent quality to the original Samsung screen which had part number NT116WHM-N21

My grandson has broken the screen two times. I refuse to buy another laptop for he doesn't appreciate it, and take e care of it. Buying a new screen is cheaper and easier for him to understand that he has to earn a new laptop. It was very easy to put in and he is satisfied.

Works for Asus Chromebook C202S, but...
Unfortunately, the metal mounting tabs were in the wrong place for the Asus Chromebook C202S. It's pretty clear they were originally there and then snapped off to support a different mounting pattern. The screen works, it's just held in by the bezel instead of being properly mounted to the lid.Replacement was easy enough after watching a YouTube video, and the screen works well, no display issues.

Great price, great delivery time. Chromebook is up and running, thank you Amazon and Generic.It is very important to match the model number of the screen, not just the laptop. In the end it was easier to begin the repair to locate the model number on the back. Once that was located, a quick search via Amazon located the correct replacement.We are curious if there is a suitable way to recycle the damaged screen we are replacing.
