Ursa Major Fortifying FACE BALM 2.5oz

I have relatively oily skin and tried several moisturizers before settling on this one. It's light and has a nice citrus/clean scent. I wouldn't say it goes on with a matte finish, but it doesn't add any oil.I originally tried it both at night and during the day, but switched to just applying it at night and I use a different moisturizer from Aesop during the day for some SPF protection. One pump will cover your whole face and one bottle (2.5oz) lasts me 4-6 months. I feel like I wake up with tighter, protected skin every morning and it honestly makes mornings more pleasant.Highly recommend, particularly over their daily protective lotion (which I've also tried and is much heavier with more residue).

In my early 30's, I got over the machismo that prevents many men from using products like facial moisturizers. The turning point was getting my first straight razor shave at a barber after months of having a beard. He applied this product as a finisher, and it seemed to noticeably lessen the irritation inherent in putting a blade to skin that hadn't seen one in months. And it smelled incredible; a nice mix of earthy and sweet.Since then, I've used another (cheaper) product as my daily moisturizer, but use this when I'll be out and about for the scent. I like it so much that I stopped using cologne entirely (even though I didn't use it much to start with). I work from home and don't care what I smell like at the gym, so I usually get 3-4 months out of a bottle, though that'll obviously be shorter if you use it every day. I've gotten many compliments on the smell, and people who guess my age tend to be 5-7 years lower than the true number, so I'd say it at least helps a bit from the skin scare side.Pros-Smells great.-Seems to do a good job keeping skin hydrated.-Good transparency on ingredients.Cons-Expensive.-In warmer weather with minor perspiration, it can make my face look shiny/greasy.

Feels great gliding on my skin and absorbs very quickly without making your face look greasy or shiny. The scent of rosemary and lavender dissipates rather quickly as well. It's just a burst of scent at first that's invigorating and then gone so it doesn't overpower or become annoying. I'm prone to oily skin with the humid summers in the area I live and it works well with my skin keeping it moisturized and balanced without being heavy.

I've used facial creams for years and it's helped my look much younger as I age. I've also used very expensive products that while they worked very well, I always look for a better priced product. I like how this product is light on my skin, not oily. Give it a try.
