Carhartt Men's Wp Waterproof Insulated Mitt Cold Weather Gloves

I understand some of the size comments left by others - I normally wear large gloves for a snug fit - due to a hand injury, I needed a much bigger fit so went for xxl in these and they weren’t exactly roomy. I’d say if you are normally an L or XL in gloves, you’re probably best off going for the XXL. They are good value for what you’re getting, they are well made, warm and comfortable. These appearing to be durable will be my go-to mitts on the coldest days for years to come - happy to recommend, but be careful regarding sizing.

So far, so good. Keeps my fingers warm and dry. Going from North Face "winter gloves" to this was a no brainer. I bought the XXL so and don't seem to big. Got a strap to tighten up so the mitts don't come loose. Overall, doing its job and it's well made. Should have bought these years ago!!

I've used these for winter hiking in the snow on Dartmoor. Kept my hands toasty warm and they're extremely durable. These are mits rather than gloves so be aware thwyrennicgood for dexterous finger work but totally fine for holding a walking pole loosely if needed. Recommend if you don't need to do anything delicate with your fingers whilst out and about.

Comfortable and warm. My hands get really cold even when the temperature is around 6 or 7 Celsius. These have kept my hands toasty at -2, which very few gloves ever have. Obviously you have to accept they're mitts, so hand function is limited, but that's to be expected. Also they're not very breathable and hands do tend to get sweaty after a while. Better than cold hands though! Best gloves/mitts I've had in this price range

I usually wear gloves, but injured a finger and needed something with more room.Love these mittens and will wear them from now on.They do however get very warm and pretty sweaty after a day skiing.Remember to turn them inside out to dry at the end of the day.

I have purchased a few pairs of mitts for a family friend who has had a stroke. I purchased size L the sizing is good.He is able to get both mitts on. They are good quality,comfortable and keep his hands warm and dry.

Super warm, but definitely not waterproof. They take ages to dry too. Had to turn them inside out and put them on a rad. Once moisture gets in it doesn’t come out. Size is a good fit. I have only brought them on one snowboarding trip so not sure how durable they will be. Considering the aren’t as waterproof as I though, value for money is not great.

Appears to be made out of good quality materials and well finished with no loose threads etc. Taken up to top of a local hill with windspeeds in excess of 30mph and hands remained snuggly warm. Waterproof as far as I can tell, but autumn will be the real test. Only caveat is the sizing: Size L was spot in the middle of my measure and they do fit well enough I won't be sending back BUT I would advise any future purchaser to go one size up for some finger wriggle room.

These Carhartt winter were recommended to me by a friend, and I bought them 5 years ago. I would buy these again. I have recommended these to many others based on the blend of warmth, water resistance, wind resistance, solid durability, and reasonable price. These hit a sweet spot between performance and value.I have used these to keepy hands warm in a variety of activities, including snow skiing, shoveling snow off the driveway, chopping firewood, walking the dog, sitting around campfires, bike rides, and early morning boot camp (F3) workouts. The boot camp workouts have definitely taken the biggest toll, gradually wearing down the outer layers due to things such as bear crawls across icy pavement. Based on what I have put these through, I am impressed. And they still have plenty of life left! After all these years of abuse, they look great.When I bought these, my biggest concern was the fit. My hands are often between men's large and medium, depending on the brand. So I originally ordered both sizes. Either would have fit my hands, but these are a bit narrow at the wrist, and I could barely squeeze my hands in the medium. so I returned the medium and kept the size large. If you're in between sizes, I recommend the larger size.These are very warm, sometimes almost too warm. Perfect when sitting or walking. If you are active in these, they may get a bit hot and sweaty. I like warm hands, so when I am active (running or boot camp workouts), I have learned to shed layers from my upper body, and keep these thick warm gloves!When these get sweaty and steamy, I dry them over a standard heater vent. I just flip the wrist cuff up, and then set these gloves over a vent, so warm air can enter and dry the inside. I also wash these in a standard washing machine about once a year, and then dry them over a heater vent. Keeps them smelling nice. I never dry them in a clothes dryer, but just place over a heater vent.Finally, these are warm enough for most conditions on their own. But when the temps are very cold, and I know I won't be moving much, that is when I like to pair these Carhartt mittens with a thin liner glove. Occasionally that gets too hot, so I shed the mitten or the liner.For the price, these are hard to beat. Outstanding value. Highly recommend.

Deze handschoenen gekocht o.b.v. de positieve recensies in de VS, ze vanmorgen in de praktijk getest: Fietstocht van 50 minuten bij een temperatuur van rond de 2 a 3 graden.Helaas bleven mijn handen niet warm, de koude werd wel redelijk gedempt, maar toch al vrij vlot koude vingers en duim. Daarom gaan ze ook retour geen waar voor dit geld.Wat direct al opviel was:- Had maart M besteld (deze heb ik altijd) maar de handschoenen vallen veel groter, zie de foto, lijkt wel maat X of XL- De binnenvoering voelt zacht aan, maar dat is dan ook alles ze voelt erg dun aan.

Sehr gute Handschuhe, war vor einer Woche Ski fahren bei Regen und das einzige was trocken geblieben ist waren meine Hände. Super Produkt!
