Does this fit on the front mount for cycling?

It should fit on any quad lock mount. It mounts on top of the actual quad lock not the mounting bracket.

How do you use this with a ball mount?

Forget the handlebar mount. It turns in to a two piece purchase, of course. You buy the quad lock with ball mount and then you buy the vibration dampened. There is a video installation on you tube "two wheel obsession" he has lots of how to videos about his mc and this is one of them.

QLA-VDM is listed as the model. I'm not sure about V1. I would recommend checking with the manufacturer.
