What is the outer diameter of the insulation?

When separated, a single strand is .165 in. in diameter and together it measures .165 in. by .345 in.

It says 99% copper but looks like less conductive and cheaper copper clad aluminum. . Which is it?

I assumed it was as advertised: 99% copper. There are different grades of copper, so conductivity may well vary, but like you, I was looking for a step up from copper clad aluminum. Don't know for sure if I got it, but the cable is thick and my system sounds good with it.

Probably china. The wire feels very high quality. It’s soft and flexible, and I got fuller richer sound out my home theater after I rewired with this.

So are we getting 50ft of each =100ft or 100ft of each =200ft?

Seems like a quality heavy gauge cable at a good price.

I was looking for a heavier gauge cable once I added an 1100W subwoofer system to my living room, and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on overly expensive cables. I thought I would give this one a try and I'm pretty impressed. The one thing I would note for others is that the rubber casing seems fairly thin on these. The upside is it's easy to strip the ends but it also means other objects can cut into the wire more easily when you don't want them to. But if you are mostly just running wire in a living room and not rolling up and packing down these cables regularly (like DJ'ing) in a hard use scenario, this will probably be just fine and gets you nice thick, pure copper cable that is heavy enough to carry serious wattage -- at a good price.
