The case is a little slick, needs textured for easier handling. The down side of sturdy is that the buttons are hard to push. Those 2 reasons are why I didn’t give the case all 5s.

This is my 3rd switchbands case (1st was a different phone, the last 2 because I was ready for a different color). All have held up great!The fit of this case however, feels little "off" - the buttons don't line up as well as before - making it harder to snap screen shots and adjust the volume. The case is really tight on the phone too - maybe a little stiffer than the previous versions, making it a little harder to switch the bands.

EDIT 3/22/21: Raised to 4 stars from 2. Excellent customer service! Received a new case plus extra goodies in the mail along with a handwritten note from Bruce the CEO expressing regret that my initial case was a dud. The new case is a little better, the buttons are much easier to push but the volume switch and speaker holes are still an issue. However, sound quality doesn't seem to be affected, so I'll give it a shot and update this review as needed.---Really wanted to like this case because the strap idea is great. However, I opted to return it as it didn't seem to fit my phone (iPhone SE 2020) well. Speaker holes didn't line up, the volume switch was near the edge of its cutout and therefore difficult to use, and the power and volume buttons were all very hard to press. The case material seems pretty sturdy, but I do wish the front edge came up above the screen a bit more.

I bought this case for my iPhone SE 2020 in May 2020 and loved it. I wanted to replace it because it has a small crack in it (not related to the quality of the case itself, I'm just rough on my phone). I purchased the same listing here again in late 2021 and was very disappointed when it arrived.The material of the case itself seems to be sturdier and is matte (vs. the 2020 design which shows fingerprints a bit), but that was the only design improvement. The other changes seem to be the placement of the openings on the side and bottom that should align with the mute switch and speaker, repsectively. You'll notice similar comments in other 2021 reviews. You can see the difference in the photos (also included the weight in grams - very slight change, ostensibly due to the change in material).Bottom line, these openings are no longer a good fit - this has to be a fabrication error, and I hope they correct it because I love the flat strap. I returned the new case and am going to stick with my original case because that model is great.

Case is sturdy and protects well against drops. A downside of the rigidness is that the case is tough to get on and off. I like the Velcro adjustability of the neoprene strap. For the first week after getting the case (and the new iPhone SE 2020 that is in it), people would complain that my voice was muffled-sounding when talking on the phone. I initially thought it was a connectivity issue (new carrier to go with the new phone.) I eventually discovered that the case was the problem. The holes at the bottom of the case completely covered the mic. I’ve since drilled/cut the case to enlarge the holes - problem solved.

The edge plastic must be different from the back panel. The back is still bright red but the edges have stained black (?) and I have no idea how. This sits on my desk or my pocket so it's odd that the edges have this dirty appearance. I've tried cleaning it but it doesn't wipe clean. It appears to be a problem with the plastic.The straps are nice but lose some elasticity pretty quickly so it has to be tightened.Pros: it can be used on a wireless charger if it is a powerful charger. Just be sure to set it on the charger and verify charging.

Have used Switchband case in past (awesome on my iphone 12 mini) BUT Switchband for Iphone SE (2020) does not fit well.-Switchband case bulges around volume rockers-opening for mic and ringer silencer switch are slightly off (just enough to be irritating)I am a HUGE fan of Switchbands but Switchbands for Iphone SE (2020) just doesn't really fit the phone.
