Valvoline 804751 CVT Transmission Fluid, Synthetic,1 Qt

wow, i was hesitant to use this on my cvt transmission, the clear color threw me off, i went ahead and replaced my filter and gasket, put back 4 quarts and i got my car back. my wife had drove it slipping 70 miles from home. its a 2016 Toyota corolla. i took a chance and damm that stuff really worked. the car drives like new again, slippage disappeared, i highly recommend it. i did a 2nd fluid change after a month from the first.

I was hesitant at first buying this fluid because everywhere you read is warning you to stick with Dealership fluids. Trust me, this works great. It’s been about a month so far and the whine has substantially gone away and the overall performance of the transmission (CVT) has improved. Albeit, I only did a drain and fill as there can be complications with doing flushes on transmissions higher in mileage. Doing another drain and fill would replace about 80% total fluid including the first service is what I’d wager a guess.

It worked good for a little bit started juttering after 20,000 miles might be my car great fluid if you're not using the car that often still drivable just shutters sometimes best bet is to go OEM because of the friction modifiers in the oil
