Standard Motor Products AC505 Idle Air Control Valve

I installed this the same day in 10 minutes and truck ran perfect. Did not make the annoying fog horn sound as it idled.

It was a perfect fit for my vehicle. It was easy to install. And it made my truck start running normal again instead of lunging, stalling out and throwing up engine codes! Runs nice and smooth now idles great! And I ordered it and it was here the next day! That’s just as quick as I could’ve got it at the store because they said that it was gonna be the next day because they don’t carry them in stock! The only difference is getting it through Amazon I got it for like $60 cheaper!!

the product is as described, at a resonable price. compare to department stores, it's cheaper to buy on line. I would recoment this product as a replacement for the original.

After a week post installation the vehicle started idling rough and lunging. 2 stars instead of 1 because it would still get up and down the road. Various attempts to adjust it were unsuccessful. I assumed the error was mine but after taking it to a master mechanic we discovered the valve was sticking and wouldnt operate smoothly. Purchased a better quality replacment and its been right as rain ever since. IMO: Dont waste your time or money trying to save a buck. Go with a good part from the beginning.
