Doesn't work with alexa as promised. Ask for help didn't get any! UPDATE For some reason it started working a couple days later and works with Alexa.

These lights went up and connected with no problems, they are bright when you need it and dim for atmosphere.

The instructions were minimally helpful, as a 28 year old first time homebuyer I had no idea how to reinstall light fixtures and the instructions gave 0 help, thank God my dad is on speed dial. Install was moderately easy, about 5/10 minutes per light. The brightness is great and I love that they can be dimmed, however getting them to connect to my WiFi was a giant pain, I had to have spent more than 2 hours fighting with the lights. Best advice I saw was in a review, they WILL. NOT. pair for you in EZ mode, you must put them in AP mode, since neither the app or the instructions tell you how to do this, turn the lights on and off 3 times until it blinks fast, then turn them off and on 3 more times until they blink slow. Luckily since I got them to pair they’ve worked great and I’ve had 0 issues.

Ok so I got a pair and had them installed via by a professional electrician since I can not do that. A day within them being installed, one of the pair starts to flicker horrible while the other in the hall way worked correctly. The electrician concluded it was the light unit issue (there is no bulbs to remove within this unit) since the previous lights installed from the previous homeowner worked when he took it out to see if the wiring was at fault, so the whole unit didn't work that was installed in a bedroom (not the hallway). So I asked for a refund or a new pair via through Amazon. Amazon then sent a new set after receiving some of the worst company service I have ever encountered and had to paid the electrician again to come back and install, AGAIN the two NEW UNITS did not work. Honestly, this was a waste of money and time. I would say get a different pair else where, these are not worth the money or the hassle.

I can use these lights in their basic form with a standard toggle switch, but its disappointing that the app wouldn't connect. The instructions are extremely limited and poorly written. It instructed to use bluetooth, when I did nothing happened. I tried to go the route of wifi, but my phone never detected a wifi signal from the light, so that didn't work either. Cheap overseas goods, can only expect so much.
