I had major surgery. My doctor told me to take arnica 3 days before my surgery and as soon as possible after. I had my arnica and another homeopathic treatment with me when I went to the hospital. Within 12 hours of my surgery my doctors gave me the ok to start taking them. For 3 days after my surgery, I took arnica every half hour to hour.During my first checkup a week after my surgery, my doctor couldn't believe how well and how quickly I was healing. I was moving much better than expected and my scar was healing clean and smooth.Week after week, whenever I went in for my follow up, my doc was amazed at how well I was healing with no complications.6 months later I had a follow up surgery. During the time between surgeries, I never stopped taking my arnica. I progressed from every half hour/hour, to every 3 hours, then finally to 2-3 times a day.By this time my doctor was calling me his superstar because he was so amazed at how well I healed. He was completely confident in my healing ability by my second surgery, which kept me calm and reassured that everything would be great.After my second surgery, I was as diligent as I was after the first surgery. Since it wasn't major surgery, I went from every hour for the first 3 days after back to 3 times a day. Once again I was my doctors superstar. I love arnica! It is a great substitute for pharmaceutical pain relief and is completely natural. I have used arnica gel in the past for bruises and insect bites, but recently I really put it to the test.I am 68 years old and I broke my ankle. From day one of the fracture and throughout healing process I only used arnica gel and arnica tablets for pain and bruising. It worked wonders but no side effects associated with pain meds. My orthopedist was shocked that I experienced no bruising to the ankle and that I did not need anything else for pain relief.In addition, I have a good friend who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis. I gave her some arnica gel and she is absolutely delighted with it. It has no annoying fragrance and is non-greasy, BUT best of all, it worked wonderfully to relieve her pain in her hands, feet and knees.I would definitely recommend this product, both in tablet and gel form.

I've been using Boron Arnica products for the past 12 years. I always have the Arnica gel on-hand at all times for my kids, and well, let's be honest... my husband, too. Anything ranging from a little bump on furniture to bad strains, I run for the gel. My husband says it's my "Windex" comparable from My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Whenever anyone complains to me about aches and pains to bruises, my first suggestion is "Arnica!"My husband recently hurt his back and I somehow twisted my neck the wrong way and we were out. With two small children, we both can't afford to be out of commission. To speed up the process, I ordered this pellets in addition to a topical solution. My husband, the skeptic, felt better after about two days, and my neck kink went away after a day. These work amazingly well, even tho many of my skeptical friends who are hooked on Advil or Alleve can't believe it! Well, believe!!The arnica pellets handle most aches and pains; if the pain is surface generated, taking the pellets and applying Arnicare cream at the same time works wonders. (Arnicare is magic in a tube, btw. I use it for so much, and, also, the ugly red spots on my arms are prevented when I get to gouged/bumped places quickly and rub in the gel or cream generously. I love that!!)I am so excited that I don't have to depend on Big Pharm (with whatever nasty longtime consequences) for ordinary wear and tear! I honestly did not think this would work for me but after reading all these good reviews, I couldn't resist but to try it out. I recently sprained my ankle and had to take pain meds but this relieved my pain just as much. It worked for my sprained ankle, headaches, and menstrual cramps!! It is completely natural, and there is no side effects. All you do is put 4-5 pellets under your tongue and let them dissolve. I think they taste good too, they have a slight sweet taste. It comes in a pack of 3 so one for the office, one for the purse, and one for home.
