Like this product. I had previously purchased from a well known, highly recommended company. The collar would be triggered by other dogs barking or the flipper door banging.

Works very well. Dog would bark all day but now he will finally relax. Does not bark anymore Update: 4/5/21 This thing took a chunk out of my dog. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ANYMORE. Thought this was going to be a good collar but something has gone wrong with it. I'm not comfortable posting the pictures because the injury is nasty.

My service dog is over protective of me; so when we moved to a new apartment she would bark at anything that went past the window or people talking. No one complained about her but I was like, you can't be barking for no reason. So our trainer recommend this. It has not only helped with her barking but has stopped her from being distracted.

This collar is not your average junk. This is the best bark collar I have experienced in 20 yrs of dog work. It does not adjust per barks but activates a single warning then a stim for the setting you select. Be sure they are on tight so that you get a good connection. Be sure you don't leave on more than 12 hrs in one position.

This device in the beginning was awesome! My four legged child loves running back and forth with my neighbor’s dog and just barks uncontrollably! When the device was received and placed on him, his barking calmed down to a very minimal! Recently, I noticed with the collar on level 3, it does not affect him (continued barking). On level 4, it is too intense and makes him yelp and nearly jump out his skin! Not sure if it was worth putting him through what I consider pain!

My dog was really stubborn and just learned to whine instead so when she did bark most of the time it would shock but it wasn't consistent. Battery life was pretty good and was the only collar we found strong enough for our dog (very large dog) to have ANY kind of response but make sure to take it off and let the area breath as if they bark a lot with it on can cause some irritation on the skin.

Dogtra is always worth the money works great and you can buy rubber caps to go over the prongs so your dogs do not become irritated from the prongs

Do Not Buy! I purchased 6 Dogtra YS bark collars in January, and every single one of them has shocked my dogs for no reason. One of my dogs was simply drinking water when the collar shocked him. Another was just sitting calmly, and when I went to adjust the collar, it shocked him. The last one was climbing into a plastic crate in the car when it went off. People walking by probably thought I was doing something to him—it was unbelievably embarrassing. When my dogs are actually barking, these collars don’t even activate properly. Amazon only offers a 30-day refund, so they gave me Dogtra’s number. When I called, the customer service rep was unbelievably rude. I accidentally said “electrocute” instead of “shock,” and she jumped on me, arguing instead of listening. I then spoke to a manager, but she repeated the same line: no refunds, only repair. So let me get this straight: the collars malfunction, shock dogs randomly, and the only solution they offer is to “fix” them so I can try again and watch my dogs get punished for no reason? Absolutely not. I’ve been a Dogtra customer for 14 years and own two 1900 series units that worked fine. I was even considering buying another, but after this experience, never again. Their customer service is dismissive, their policies are terrible, and their collars are unreliable. To make it worse, after checking reviews on Chewy, Dogtra’s own site, and Amazon, I discovered many other people are reporting the same issues. I wish I had read those before purchasing. Save yourself the money, stress, and guilt—do NOT buy from Dogtra.

this is really senstive to my dog ..at level 2 only she wud shout of pain ..and even if shes not barking she wud get snapped from it. and shes a medium BC dog and strong but yah she gets hurt at level 2 only.
