CLEANRTHCI007 Advanced Ultrasonic Insect Repelling System - Demands Insects & Bugs to Leave

How can I tell? I placed them outside thinking I'd chase the bugs away BEFORE they got inside. I have security cameras outside and the little flying bugs LOVE the infrared light. As soon as I plugged these in, there were NO bugs flying around my cameras! Amazing! My mistake, however, was placing them outside with nothing inside. The little critters start looking for a safe haven to escape the noise. That turned out to be INSIDE my house. That which I was most concerned about, scorpions, began appearing all around our bedroom and bathrooms! I brought the units inside to chase them out. I'll buy more for the outside to keep them away.

I was skeptical when I ordered this. Credit where credit is due - the device does emit ultrasonic sounds, and the different modes DO change the frequency, intensity, and sound pattern.Whether or not that repels insects? I don't know. I didn't have pests when I got it - and I still don't have them, so at best it isn't attracting them.The build quality is alright - plastic, switches aren't that great - the test button is incredibly sensitive, and the sliders between modes are lacking a satisfying toggle "notch" feeling.The night light is dim.The device also makes audible clicking, buzzing, and humming sounds that you can notice within several feet of the device. Further away than that and you would have to listen, but the noise is there.All in all the device does what it says it does.

So it's too new to be able to tell if it is indeed working. I did get it well ahead of the earliest expectation. However, I will say this: I was looking for a sonic pest repeller that only targeted insects, because that's what my problem is. All that I'd seen also repelled rodents, too. I absolutely didn't want this. I have two rabbits for pets and didn't want them to be affected. So, that being said, this one is a plus as they aren't bothered by this one at all. One covers my whole house, so that's also great, as others that are sold in six packs have a pretty limited range. In all, I hope this works well and fast as advertised because so far, I like this and all the settings that can be toggled and not just automatically on. Also, I'd like to add that I had ordered a regular one for my attic and the box it came in had minimal instructions at best, whereas this product came with actual paper instructions and what to expect and when to expect it, what all the toggles mean and what you should set them to if this certain thing is desired.

this product is worthless...will not get rid of crickets

At first I wasn't entirely sure whether or not this product was working as it seemed to not do anything for at least the first couple of weeks. If I hadn't read the instructions I would have tossed it and labelled it junk.I would have been SO WRONG if I did.We had a really bad sewer cockroach problem that just wasn't going away no matter what I was doing.After several weeks of keeping this awesome little machine plugged in I can't even recall the last time I saw a roach !The technology it uses it is super neat too!

I have issue with ants coming in my back door. I put this in my kitchen, close to the back door, and within 2 days I stopped seeing ants coming in. I am very happy with the way this worked! It is very easy to use and the directions are very simple. I would recommend to anyone having any insect issues in their home!!

I have had this plugged in for right at 30 days. Following the manufacturers recommendations I have waited the recommended time to allow the product to work. During winter we normally have fewer insects but we have had lots of rain recently which always seems to bring the bugs indoors. During the first two weeks I saw one roach and 3 stink bugs, during the last two weeks I have not seen any. If this works this well now, it will be great to have when the temperature warms up in the spring.

Already I notice a difference! I'll be ordering a second one for my rental unit. This should easily save on monthly pest control costs and its safer! The unit comes with very detailed instructions on how to use the unit and the most effective way of expelling the bugs! Love it!
