Good product, great support from the vendor
My first unit worked perfectly for 4 months. It quickly finds the maximum power point and does a good job recharging the batteries on my sailboat, even after running the refrigerator, inverter, lights, coffee maker, and more. It's a great unit. But after 4 months, it failed. An internal short developed, which caused the 30A fuse I had between it and the battery bank to blow. Figuring I had a bad fuse I replaced it and the new one immediately blew. Clearly I had an issue which could either be a wiring fault or a failure in the MPPT charge controller. I took the charge controller home to "bench test". Turns out it had developed an internal short to ground (from battery positive).I contacted EPSolar, who quickly sent me a replacement unit. The new unit has been installed on my boat for 3 weeks now and is working perfectly.I've been very impressed by EPSolar's warranty support and their continued interest in my issue. They remained in contact with me throughout the replacement process and even followed up afterward to be sure the new unit operated properly.Naturally I am concerned that the new unit will fail, but it is good to know that EPSolar stands behind their products with strong warranty and technical support.

Great Controller
New to solar and "learning" along the way with a off grid solar aeration unit for my pond. I bought a kit off eBay and used the cheap charge controller it came with. I had no plans to replace until it died. I know MPPT chargers were suppose to be the best and more efficient but man were they $$$. This was the best value that met my needs and didn't break the bank. Based on reviews I wasn't worried about getting a fake MPPT controller based on price point. The fake ones were still way lower in pricing too which raised red flags. This controller is nice quality. I love the displays. Being able to see when the solar panels are producing, how much, battery stats, etc, etc makes things so easy and nice. Displayed readings matched my voltmeter readings so I feel good about the quality of this product. I don't have no high tech gear or recorded stats or anything to base this next statement as fact. I did go out mutiple times a day and read the battery levels with the voltmeter and off the power inverter display because this was my new toy. But since changing over to this charger IMO my batteries recover faster and my nightly check shows more juice in the tank after the sun is almost set than with the other charger. I am very happy with purchase. The remote unit is nice but is meant to be indoors as it is not weather proof so I am not using it. Learning solar is expensive!!! Lol Even with this efficient charger I'm finding my 1 100w panel isn't producing enough to run my pump and keep my batteries charged. So I'm now expanding to 3 panels. If I have to go 4 then this charger will give me that option. Just FYI..if you decided to tinker with solar it becomes almost an obsession and what looked like a not to terribly expensive project/experiment at first will begin to add quickly as it becomes almost a person challenge against Mother Nature to harness the energy you need. To quit would mean accepting defeat!!! Lol!!! I do not regret getting into this solar adventure as it is a fun hobby for me and once I get the formula right it will give me up to 3000w of power at the back of my property. Prices of panels and all the necessary equipment has come way down so what the heck. Just do your research first and I would definitely spent the little upfront cost for this MPPT controller. This was the best value and reviewed MPPT controller I found after a month of research. Debating on another solar project and will definitely be buying another one of these controllers.

Second Ever charge controller I've bought
My second Epever solar charge controller, for a smaller application than the first. I've found these 100% reliable and they operate as specified. My one reason for not giving them a 5-star review is that the monitor display is so... 1999? Maybe it uses less electricity or is all the processor can do? In any case, it's a pixelated LCD display almost as rudimentary as Pong was when I was a kid. On the other hand, it's not as though I spend much time looking at it. The controller does well what it's designed to do.

Works great runs RV Bare Essentials
I travel and live in my RV so I have been loving my new solar set up. These MPPT controllers have been the best for the most part. However The one complaint I do have is one that I seem to share with a few others who have purchased the 30 amp. I'm running to 100 watt 12 volt solar panels using my 30 amp mppt controller and they one hundred amp hour battery. Most of the time it works perfectly to run my TV my game systems or whatever little stuff I'm running or charging. But in here comes the problem like a few others have said it does randomly shut off on me.? I would love to find a way to fix this one issue so that I feel a little more comfortable buying another one in the near future for my second system. I would be happy to raise this to a five star product after receiving feedback and possible solutions.
